Stump Sulcata Tortoise 2yrs 1mo coming in after grazing

The first two days he came in to the sunroom I was sure he wouldn't climb the 6" step and over the threshold to get in... especially with his jacket and gaiter on. Wrong. After doing it twice I made a step for him and this is how he comes in everyday now. Leave the sunroom door open when he gets to the door and he will go to his bed if you let him. I am not a fan of farm animal smells so that dirty dude always gets a bubble bath soak for 2 rounds of hot water or about 90 minutes.

Can they hear?

Absolutely. They can hear up to 1-2K or so and distinguish voices.
