If you want a super easy no bake cheesecake you should try the recipe I have used for years. It is so simple and makes 2 cheesecakes at one time with very few ingredients. You need 2 graham crackers crusts, 3 blocks of the 8oz cream cheese, one can of sweetened condensed milk, and half of an 8oz cool whip and any flavor pie filling of your choice. My family loves strawberry pie filling the best. The filling is mixing the cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk until really smooth, and fold in the cool whip. Divide it between the two crusts and set in the fridge overnight so that it sets up and firms. Once it sets up add the pie filling on top and chill. I usually put my can of pie filling in the fridge to chill at the same time I set my cheesecake in the fridge to set up. That way it is cold when put on top and you can eat it sooner. Give it a try. You will love it. My family especially my brother begs for it every time he comes in for a visit. Keep the recipes coming. I know how much you love your cats. I have one who will be 17 years old this September. Pets are the best. Make sure to let the cheesecake mixture to set up before putting the pie filling on top or it will make a mess and sink into the cheesecake

Just make sure to give the cheesecake filling long enough to firm up. It is better that way before putting the pie filling on top. To make it with the strawberry pie filling I sometimes cut up some fresh strawberries to mix with the strawberry pie filling but know if you do this you need to make sure it is eaten quicker so that the fresh strawberries don't spoil.

You're using the zester the hard way, instead of doing it like you are, you rub the lime, orange or lemon quickly over the top. You're doing it more like a peeler 😊

Use the lime juice from the lime you tried to zest. Fresh is always best and has more flavor. Practice on the zesting, use it like a cheese grater.
Key lime juice has a different flavor.. you don't want to use regular limes for a 'key lime' pie or dessert .. it won't taste right.
It might be easier to scrape the lime or lemon on the top of your grater instead of scraping the grater across the fruit.

It makes for a scrumptious cake. The best you'll ever eat! Don't forget a dollup of your favorite ice cream with it. I use key lime pie ice cream. YUMMY!!

That lemon Cake, I make one similar in a Bundt pan, and I heat up frozen lemonade concentrate with 1 cup of sugar. When cake is done, pour hot lemonade mixture over Bundt cake while it’s still hot too. Let cool off in Bundt pan, then flip out onto to cake stand.. good stuff!

When making a cake, I cut the oil half, by using apple sauce for they other half. Like the milk ideal.

The keylime juice or concentrate is often used in Margaritas, Mojitos, and other tropical drinks. You can usually find it at Totall Wine, Bevmos, and maybe Trader Joe's or Target in their liquor sections.

Homemade hot pockets: BREAKFAST PIZZA:
2 packages of Pillsbury Pie Crust, mash together any cut into rectangles. Fill with pizza sauce, Canadian Bacon, Breakfast Bacon, and a smidge of Crushed Pineapple, well drained. (Save the juice) Fold, crimping the edges to seal shut. Bake according to pie crust instructions. Let cool completely. EAT and ENJOY! 🤤

You should hold the zester with the correct side up and then sit your Iime or lemon on the zester and slide it over continuously until you get enough zest. By the way, I live in Metairie, which is just 10 minutes from Downtown New Orleans. Where did you live around New Orleans?
Quick Dinner:
(Pre-heat the oven to °375. Put all ingredients into a large casserole dish or baking pan.)
ROYAL RAMEN DINNER:
4-8 Ramen Noodles ( 1 package per person), 4-8 hard boiled Eggs, sliced, (add to each dish after serving) 1 package of frozen diced Chicken, 1 large bag of green peas and diced carrots, 1 bag of Cut Corn, 2 cans water crest, drained well, 1 package of cut mushrooms, rinsed , 3 stocks of Celery, sliced, 3 cans Cream of Mushroom soup, 1 package of chopped Chinese BBQ Pork. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the noodles are softened, remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, stir, and serve. ENJOY! 😇
With the lemon cake, I would cut back a bit on the water and replace it with lemon juice.
