It costs me $30 (Australian) if I take my wheels down to the shop to get my tyres changed over and get rid of my old tyres. The cost of this in Australia including shipping is about $1200. I would need to change 40 sets of tyres just to break even. Yeah, no thanks.
Its a proper test, not some baked in the sun to make it mega warm in california, super pliable radial, bias plys are real nasty too, its the dream machine but its so goddamn expensive.
Looks like a nice machine. But for $600+. I just can’t find my myself to pay that much for a manual machine, and I have the money to buy it. If it ever went on sale in the mid $300 range I would probably buy it. I currently have one of the manual machine that sit on the floor with a duck head. Yeah it’s a little harder on the back but it gets the job done the same easy way at a third of the cost.
yeah I looked at these and just bought a $1200 real tire machine instead. I know it's twice the money but its 5 minutes a wheel taking your time and not scratching anything, plus I can do my car and truck tires.
Steep price on this machine, i will just take it in to get it changed at a Cycle Gear. Some good elbow grease and a shovel and tire irons will work for way less in price.
Yea but $650? Even $599 on sale for Black Friday is too much. It used to be a reasonable cost.

putting a hard tire on is not that difficult , lets see it removed after the bead is set too.
Nice hat
The price is a million miles away from reality. They must realise that.
You could have NOT time lapsed it, and done it normal speed to show people how it works, and the supposed ease.
Common sense next time. 🤦🏻🤷🏻♂️
This channel continues to put out useless content.
Nice review Troy, thank you- been considering a Rabaconda for a while now---good to have a close-up look-
Whoa - this is cool.

Ditto. I can get a lot of tires changed for $600

And make it a rear tyre too.
