I owned an '07 FJR 1300 and loved that bike. Bought it brand new and sold it in '13. Took an 8yr hiatus from owning a motorcycle. In '21 I bought a brand new Harley Davidson Sport Glide. Two very different bikes but both are amazing. Definitely less maintenance with the FJR.
Ya I have ridden a few Harley’s in my day. They are night and day different. Both have their pros and cons. But I bought the Fjr for its capability and reliability! Cheers!

Take the lower fairing bolt out and put a piece of tinfoil over it, then take your filter off, i also changed the diff oil the same day 200 ml

Yep, you can also put foil up and under the filter prior to removing same, shape it so if any oil comes out, you can direct it to the container.
Nice looking bike, that would be the color i would pick also. So, you are not doing the rear gear oil at 600 miles ?

I can save you more money, oil MOTUL 7100 10W-40 Amazon 4 litre jug, Oil filter HIFLOFILTRO HF 204
I use the same oil in my WR250R. Figured I would use the oil suggested by Yamaha for first oil change.
I have had excellent luck with Valvoline motorcycle oil. Buy at Walmart, lots cheaper.
