I have recently visited Goa for a 6 day vacation trip. Honestly, I didn't find a shortage of tourists there. Tourists were coming from Gujrat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Bengal. Also, foreign tourists were so many foreign tourists as usual for which Goa is known. I don't find any reason to put fake propaganda on RUclips for this reason. Hope you understand what I mean !

And don't need Character certificate from unregulated, unruly visitors drinking and breaking bottles on beautiful beaches, urinating and puking on streets, oggling at females, busses load of visitors cooking and eating on road sides, defecating in open areas. Goa has a population of 1.5 million natives against 8 million desi visitors. There's heavy burden on infrastructure, resources and handling capacity. locals have to bear the brunt of over Tourism . Influx of desi visitors after Covid 19 is the main factor. Quality tourists over Quantity says Tourism Minister of Goa.
Commuting is the biggest challenge in Goa, it's like stone age transport system..There is no Ola/Uber, public transport is rare and Auto(tut-tuk) will ask 1000 rs for 5km, taxi will force you to pay 5000-6000 for even 15-20km.if you ask them why they are charging 10 times of the original fare, they will rudely say "kaahe ko aaya phir idhar(then why did you come to Goa )"...It's kind of extortion, even locals are pissed of from these Mafia..There is absolutely no professionalism or business etiquette when it comes to taxi gang. If things don't improve then Taxi Mafia and extreme dearth of public transport will completely ruin the tourism sector in Goa.. If govt can't do anything, then at least run public buses with good frequency, else be ready to witness the complete downfall of Goa Tourism.
Goa being Costly, hotels rates,taxi services ,resto bars, amusements out of budget even for Foreign travellers. Govt. should pay attention or bear revenue losses.

Goa is no more like use to be like friendly ,ok rates changes but now it's all scam happening in cars,auto,even rented scooters you get fooled in pubs , restaurant by expensive rates of food . And street roads are good but made dirty by locals,and some tourists. To many workers from Karnataka,Nepal who doesn't know nothing street food vendors taking over roads and full of unhealthy foods are served. Costly visas,hotels . I went to kerela much much better.... Thank God....
Yes they are mafias....& You are one of them goonsters........public transport after 7 is destroyed bcoz of you assholes resultantly people drink & drive.......ola uber doesn't Operate....too much hassle trouble for tourists...taxi drivers are goons talk rudely......fight.....charge inadvertently....in banglore going for 52 kms charges are only 900....but in Goa it takes 2400 for 8 kms from airport to hotel....flight from Bangalore to Goa was 2700.....
