Tourism mafia is biggest problem of each and every tourist place , miss behaviour of locals with tourists is very much common , Government should try to sort out the basic problems of the tourists.

Hi .. I am Vijay Manager from Bangalore. I visited Goa this 2025 New Year and also
for last 6 New Years 2019 , 2020 2021, 2023 , 2024 and Last week 2025) .
No UBER and Ola Taxis.--> Mafia
All Rides and Restaurants --> Mafia
Taxi and City Buses--Mafia
Police --> Highly Corrupted
Goa Tourism Employees are very harsh with Tourists. Almost 40% Tourists will face bad experiences.
The Mafia is really Ditching Goa
There is Dangerous Mafia running in Parking , Taxis, City Buses , Bus-stand dormitaries , Beach Shacks , Boat Rides etc
The Junk thing is "In Kadamba Bus Stand"--> there are no Chairs to Sit and NO water to Drink . There were only Cement benches moulded to Pillars.
The Toursim Mafia is rooting to Dangerous Levels in Goa. Request Goa Govt to take care of all those Mafia rooted in Calangute ( RIdes, Boats, Restaurants, Beach Shacks and City Buses).
Else Goa will become another Economic Turbulence State in coming 5 years for sure.

Many indians and some foreigners also trying to finish goan tourism. But nobody can stop tourism. It's very old and foreigners coming to goa since 40, to 50,years back. There is one famous village shapora, mostly tourist stays in goan houses just like relatives, and stay for 6, to 12 month, locals also benefits, even food, vehicles for foreign tourister. Staying in local homes is very cheap for them. So they used to come every year. And foreigner like goan food, goan music now suddenly what happens to some indians i dont know? Why so much jealous against goan tourism? But jealousy will not run for long time. Those who know the real story of goa they will come to goa. And we welcome good and honest tourister. But my appeal to tourister. Pls. When you enter in goa, do very important work, no.1, do not contact illegal tourist agent. No. 2, contact direct booking office. No.3, goa tourism office booking. Use kadamba buses or private buses. Don't go by taxi. If you found costly hotels moove to cheap hotel. There are many normal hotels in goan villages. So you can go there.

This mafia culture is not limited to Goa... This is common in every tourist place in India... North, South, east or west...
Goa is overcrowded. Why do you want"stampede" there?
