Narcissistic oppressors are like that. The people they abuse come in armed and announcing they're fed up? Mr Big Boss still doesn't take them seriously, until the guns are actually pointing at him. @Gameking 65 I don't think so... Stranger and Munch don't know each other, I don't see why they could teams up. Well... Maybe if Stranger decides to go after Sekto, that's a possibility. And maybe Sekto's the real Magog Cartel boss. Because the Magog Cartel's logo looks very similar to that of an Oktigi...
@@solidraiden17 I do know that a Dear Alf segment did confirm Abe and Stranger would get along, but Stranger would very much get tied of Abe's "constant yapping". Plus I think Stranger would sympathize with Munch due to their whole "nearing extinction" situations.
I liked *Sam's cameo.* She's a fascinating character who has always intrigued me. When I started to learn more about Oddworld between 2006 and 2010, I was always hopeful that she'll appear in some game in the franchise. I always love her design, and now that I found out that she's the reason for Abe's boiled lips, as well as that she intentionally provides her eggs for her children to become future slaves, Sam's background interests me even more. Personally, I was expecting a cameo from Munch or Stranger, but Sam is also a character that satisfied my curiosity and one of the many mysteries of Oddworld that I hope will be solved in the future.
With the cliffhanger at the end, I'm sincerely hoping the next game sees us actually going to Nolybab to find her. And maybe we'll learn more about Margaret, too, while we're at it. :3
Looks like molluck the glukkun got his revenge a few more sliggs on his payroll....if he can afford them as he ain’t getting that yacht Edit: I mean airship not yacht
@@jf6466work Yes the three glukkons pin the blame on molluck because may think he stage an rebellion after the destruction of rupture farms however abe actions to save his people had cost glukkons factories to be shut down and half of sliggs kill three of them.
Considering they have rebooted Oddworld and now are completing the projects that they originally envisioned them to be with the hardware of today rather than the limitations imposed upon them decades ago, Munch's Oddysee was the third chapter out of the five planned. I have complete certainty that a remake of Munch's Oddysee is coming but most likely heavily re-imagined into the project it was meant to be rather than what it became, like Soulstorm/Exoddus. ....Granted, Exoddus actually wasn't even part of the five chapters and was intended to be a side chapter/second half of Abe's Oddysee so combined, they count as one complete game out of the five. Munch's Oddysee technically is the second game followed by it's second half, Munch's Exoddus which was planned but not developed. The actual third game out of the five is meant to be a Slig focused one.
Mullock might think the sligs are idiots but he’d rather they be His idiots, and loyal ones considering He just got two of his enemies personal slig guard to turn on them, and he personally understands wanting to survive from the sligs perspective since he’s going into hiding too, clearly was fuming to agree to that agreement though lmao. The sligs and mullock are bad but they’re far from the biggest fish in the ocean of bad guys around them. Wanting to go to the shaymans to wait till everything blows over sounds pretty good to me too haha.
@zonilo1: No he said they want to go to The Yaymans [ like The Cayman Islands I guess in real life ] and sip frosty Polada's [ Pina Colada's ] on a humid beach.
I remember when Molluck talked about Magog Cartel's investors, when he said they're "creepy". It would be funny if Magog Cartel's investors are just "humans". And apparently, the final bonus ending said to have some extra levels. I wonder if we'll get eventually a return to RuptureFarms1029...
Maybe, maybe not. But from what i can speculate, it might be the Octogai that are the ones investing in the Magog Cartel. Would certainly fit the creepy factor Mollouck mentioned. Plus if you take a look at the Logo for the Magog Cartel, it looks like an Octogai. This is just my theory though, there are many different ways it could all happen.
@@solidraiden17 Exactly, but i dont think its only Sekto. There must be more than 1 Octogai after all. Sekto has his Sekto Springs Dam after all, and is in western Mudos while The Magog Cartel is in Eastern Mudos.
Despite my several issues with the game, I couldn't help but enjoy this ending. Also, this may be the longtime Oddworld fan in me, but I can't help but smile when a Glukkon says "Do it".
Captain Slig sneaked inside the Soulstorm Brewery while 2 Glukkons are on a meeting with Brewmaster Captain Slig gave Mollock the info he needs. Captain Slig and his Sligs are prepared to assassinate the CEO's of Soulstorm Brewery factory.
I find this ending to be satisfactory not just for Abe, but Molluck, as well. After everything he's been through (Both the laborer uprising (which was justified) and his reputation being ruined (which wasn't)), I think he deserves that vacation in the Yaymans.
Well, don't forget that the media was placing particular interest on the 300 Mudokons supposedly dying in the fire that Mullock supposedly started, making it out to be an atrocity, while also considering Mullock's original plan. He was gonna have his 300 Mudokon workers ground up into meat pops; he WAS gonna kill them anyway. Still, that also brings up the question of HOW Mullock planned to get away with it, when he was gonna market the new product as "Mudokon Pops". I mean, if the media calls burning down his own factory with his Mudokon workers in it an atrocity, why would they consider making food out of them anything less? Yeah, the Magog Cartel as a whole mistreats their Mudokons slaves, to say the least, and they're obviously using what they think Mullock did to make themselves look good; but the fact that they actually DO have to worry about public relations means that there ARE consumers in Mudos' industrial society who would be repulsed by Molluck marketing basically "people meat". So, how WAS Mullock gonna pull that off? Yeah, he didn't burn down his factory and invent Abe as a scapegoat to get insurance Moolah; but he WAS intending to kill the 300 Mudokons from the start, and that's what's being made out to be the biggest atrocity by the news.
They weren't blowing up Soulstorm Brewery, just killing the other three Gluks. The factory blowing up would have actually been a bad thing this time around for both Mullock AND Abe. See the bad ending for details.
oOoOO towards the end when Abe was talking about everyone having the same mother and that she sealed Abe's mouth shut and left them all to die and she's in a whole different area I'm looking forward to the next adventure of Abe will be get multiple different series and new allies that will aid Abe oOoOO can't wait I smell a whole new set of species coming in the next game

Oddworld was supposed to be a 5 part game series, this is the reboot of oddworld exodus, the second game. Even though there might be a brand new game in the future with Abe for the third part. Munchies HD is the sequel. I don't know if Munchies was supposed to be the 3rd part or if it was just a third game though.
@@yogurtstand1776 Munch's Oddysee is actually the second game out of the five. It's complicated but when they created Oddysee that was actually only the first half of the envisioned first chapter. Exoddus was made and is considered the second half by the developers of the first game, not the second game in their planned five game vision of Oddworld. Oddysee and Exoddus make up the first chapter of Oddworld focused on Abe. The second chapter focused heavily on Munch and was meant to play out similarly with Munch's Oddysee followed by Munch's Exodus as its second half. Munch was the second game out of the five in their eyes, so we aren't even up to that yet. Really they've just finished the first reimagined chapter of the vision they laid out decades ago and are now remaking to what they originally envisioned Oddworld to be, free of the limitations of the past. The third game in the series was actually meant to focus on Sligs funnily enough. And as for Stranger's Wrath...that was always just spin-off/side-game for them, not part of the five game plan.

Mullock overlooked the fact of Abe breaking into Soulstorm I wonder if this means he is now good because he didn’t chase them at the end as for Sligs they clocked they were getting screwed
Mullock is more neutral evil at this point, in the end, he's in this for himself and is willing to do anything to get ahead of those trying to kill or capture him, even kill his co-workers and going against his mother, Lady Margret
@@james739123 I agree he feels like he's still quite selfish and basically guided by survival now the slig captain on the other hand feels like he could be a potential good sliggy perhaps with his followers too I personally think that mullok is going to replace lulu from munches oddesey and it would be great to see abe and mullok forced to team up despite hating eachother and maybe have munch bond with the sligs over because fellow quadriplegics gotta look out for eachother lol
@@angsty_saint how will that work in munches's oddesey remake?

I gotta say, seeing those Sligs shoot down their three former Glukkon Bosses surprisingly looks similar to that tragic Clones purging Jedi event 6:55, that happened years ago in Star Revenge of the Sith, known as the Order 66 execution.
I’ve waited 3-4 years for this... damnit that cliffhanger was good, they should make this a series!

It's like they still live in the delusion that they can just berate their workers into submission, instead of seeing shit for what it is and trying diplomacy
I really wish that the Brewmaster had the same voice as before. He had so much more energy, and that crazy german accent was so funny!

Maybe if we’re lucky, it’ll be a DLC.
I love good endings!
Same.
Me too.
The only bad ending I like in a movie is when Thanos won in Infinity war

A Star Wars reference in Oddworld
Anyone else think that guide jewel critter is a baby Mudokon queen
I think the next game is where we will meet and save Abe's mom.
I think that would be a remade version of Munch's oddysee?
@@zonilo1 probably if they are making another game of it.
Nolybab will be in the fifth game
Well... In Munch Odyssey we search Sam's eggs. (Mudokon Queen)
So maybe...
They are in a perpetual state of fear, and it makes the actor’s performance so much better because of it.
“Ah, my friends.”
“Friends? I throughly he said we were the enemy.”
“Yeah. That’s what I heard.”
“Ed?”
“Heh he heh. Heheh!”
Hold up...Did that Slig mentioned humans or rather Human beaches? If so then the plot even thickens even more....
humid as is hot
No it’s a beach on odd world that has a similar name but different
All of Oddworld is really just a microscopic world that was scraped off the sides of your toilet bowl
Actually that Slig said Yamans and Yaman beaches.
@@megolasaurus67 Nice theory. Maybe Sekto is one of these investors. We can only speculate for now...
@@solidraiden17 Exactly, but i dont think its only Sekto. There must be more than 1 Octogai after all. Sekto has his Sekto Springs Dam after all, and is in western Mudos while The Magog Cartel is in Eastern Mudos.
This truly is the best. The mudokuns are free to choose their next paths
For how cartoony this series is, it is also surprisingly dark.
Despite my several issues with the game, I couldn't help but enjoy this ending. Also, this may be the longtime Oddworld fan in me, but I can't help but smile when a Glukkon says "Do it".
It's their favorite phrase.
Captain Slig sneaked inside the Soulstorm Brewery while 2 Glukkons are on a meeting with Brewmaster
Captain Slig gave Mollock the info he needs. Captain Slig and his Sligs are prepared to assassinate the CEO's of Soulstorm Brewery factory.

I’m hoping in the future we get a remake of oddworld strangers of wrath who’s with me
I find this ending to be satisfactory not just for Abe, but Molluck, as well.
After everything he's been through (Both the laborer uprising (which was justified) and his reputation being ruined (which wasn't)), I think he deserves that vacation in the Yaymans.
Don’t let this distract you from the fact he was gonna kill Abe!
The animation in these are just beautiful
Respect your workers. Even if you're blowing up a brewery and are a general asshole, respect 'em.
No, she didn't "leave" them anywhere. She was kidnapped and forced to produce eggs for the Glukkons that became the Muds who worked there.

from what i can tell the third one will be about saving abes mother and going to the heart land itself
Will there be a sequel
If this game makes enough money, there could be a sequel.
@@yogurtstand1776 Munch’s oddysee should be next after Soulstorm

Basically on the XBox, you go through a series of trials called "Vykker Labs," where Mudokons are used as lab rats to test the brew.
On PS4, you have "Toby's Escape," which is similar, but you get to see Toby leaving the place and what happens to Rupture Farms briefly after the attack. He also admits no one even knew he was there, and not many Sligs went to the Boiler Room.
