    I might have mentioned it in a previous video of yours but once I didn't hold the spring down and it shot across the shop. I found it 6 months later when i was sweeping up

    Just a suggestion, when showing intricate locations (ie: upper and lower limit screw caps) do close-ups. Thanks for the great videos!!

    Thanks for sharing. How do you set Carb Hi and low screws? Set low in the idle and hi with the full throttle? What are typical adjustments? one full turn?

    Just to let you know I found my echo parts. The only thing that was a real pain was finding the grommet for PB-265LN. Question for you, I can't find anyone here on RUclips where they say the total length of the fuel lines, do you know and how far down from the grommet should it be? I also cleaned the vent on the blower, and it had a small little foam in it. When I bought ones online and none of the vents have the small little foam, just the black rubber with a tiny, tiny little whole. Thank you, M

      The fuel vent line and the primer bulb return line only need to stub in to the tank one half inch or so. The fuel line should extend all the way to the bottom of the tank to ensure that it catches fuel to pull into the carburetor.

      @@helpinguonline hi again so my PB 265LN just dead. The prime bulb was holding any gas, so I order off Amazon a new carburetor, cleaned the muffler screen new s.plug all new lines fuel vent new 2 cycle gas. Came out to start it not a dam thing. Prime bulb is fall of gas even the yellow line, new tank grommet air filter new thinner than I had before. Going to check s.plug not sure what setting to have the multimeter on, for resistance on. I have Klein tools mm100. The throttle sticks too. I can send you a video of me trying to start it and also show you the throttle. I haven't messed with the 2 adjusting screws yet. I can also send I picture of the carb box it's a maintenance kit. S.plug is echo NGKR BPMR8Y THE KIT HAD BPMR8V NOT SURE if I can use that . I Also NGK-BPM8Y. HOPING YOU CAN HELP. The vents I bought none have the tiny little piece of form, like echo as in there vents. Not sure if that matters?

    Where do you buy your parts for Echo? Having hard time finding grommets lines tubes for my back pack blower model PB-265LN? Thx Markus

      I search online. And I have found that you have to be creative in your search and to get the best price. For example... if I am looking for a fuel tank grommet for an echo I may search for fuel lines or fuel filter for your model echo and you will get a whole kit that includes the grommet you are looking for.

    These 2 Strokes are a pain. I have FLYMO multi tool. It starts, runs ( revs ) great. Keep raving no problem. Let idle it just dies. Then it won’t start for an indeterminate time then same again ! Have changed lines and carb with little impact.

    • @helpinguonline
      @helpinguonline  5 месяцев назад

      hard to say without looking at it... do you have spark when it dies and won't start?
      May be getting too much fuel at idle and dying then flooded and won't start. Was your original carb diaphragm hard (worn out)? If you bought an after market carb... they can be problematic.
      Let us know what you discover

    • @johnoneill3260

      I did use a aftermarket carb. I cannot understand how it can run great and then just stop. Anyway, I will go through from scratch. The other thing I can do is see how the previous carb was adjusted (H and L) and set the new one there or thereabouts. The design of this thing is weird . The plug is underneath so you have to somehow hold ip up and pull the cord whilst trying to see what is happening to the plug. Anyway, will let you know

    • @johnoneill3260
      @johnoneill3260 5 месяцев назад

      OK. When in doubt READ THE INSTRUCTIONS !!!! They say when cold use CHOKE. When warm SQUEEZE AND HOLD THROTTLE TRIGGER. I did this and so far starts and runs every time. So the only issue i have is it wont idle. If there was a simple adjustment to set the idle with the throttle lever I could do it no issues. I am assuming I can so this with the L Setting on the Carb and I have ordered a adjustment tool to do that. Failing that I will either mock something up to adjust the throttle lever or shorten the throttle cable.

    Hi, how do you check for fuel into motor?

    • @helpinguonline
      @helpinguonline  10 месяцев назад

      If you think fuel might not be getting into the cylinder you can pour just a little to cycle gas into the throat of the carburetor and that will go right into the cylinder. Or you can take the spark plug out and put a little fuel in the cylinder that way.

    • @helpinguonline
      @helpinguonline  10 месяцев назад

      If you do that and the engine fires And it won’t without doing that then you know there is something blocking fuel between the gas tank and the cylinder

    Please show how the fuel hoses are connected correctly

    • @Alwaysbmoving
      @Alwaysbmoving 3 месяца назад

      I second this. Mine is leaking out where one of the hoses connects to the tank; not the one with the fuel filter. The other. And I feel
      Like it’s missing grommets. There was a circle one inside but I don’t know what it’s even from it’s bigger than the fuel filter but smaller than the top cap.

    That metering diaphragm needed to be changed. It's not supposed to click like that. In my opinion

    Why does oil come out of carb cover when u try to start

    • @helpinguonline
      @helpinguonline  4 месяца назад

      Sounds like you are getting too much two cycle fuel and flooding the carburetor. Could be because the metering diaphragm is stiff and lost its flexibility causing the needle valve to stay open and flooding the carburetor
