    This w-as very interesting and clear! Thank you!
    With this modification done, can the same sleeve or sleeves be used in other armcye's on Love Notion tops or will this need to be re-done on each pattern? Also, have you closed your blog? The links on your about page do not work. Thank you! :)

      Hi. This adjustment will need to be done on each sleeve for each pattern as each sleeve has a different width depending on the design and wearing ease on each pattern. So measure each sleeve pattern to determine if and how much of an adjustment you will need or want to make. Oh yes I did close my blog and have moved everything over to my RUclips Channel. Thank you I will update my page.

    Hi - I am always struggling with getting upper arms to fit. Thank you for this easy to understand tutorial. My problem, and I don't think I'm alone these days, is I no longer deal with FaceBook for my own personal reasons. How else can I obtain the pattern referenced?

    Yes, the sleeve seam line hasn’t changed length, but the cap height is less?

    • @LoveNotions
      @LoveNotions  Год назад

      I am not sure what you mean. The cap didn't change and so it still matches the seam line. ~K

    Would it be possible to take a well fitting shirt, drawing the arm hole and sleeve then apply those dimensions to the new pattern?

      Yup! That's a brilliant idea! ~K

    Sadly this method adds width, but unfortunately also reduces cap height which I also need.

    • @LoveNotions
      @LoveNotions  14 дней назад

      That would be a good time to also adjust the armscyes height (tho a bicep adjustment shouldn't affect it much 🤔.) We also have a blog post on our website on bicep adjustment that doesn't affect armscye, but the site is currently down for maintenance --should be back up soon!) ~J

    When doing 1.5" or more and you say to trace the armsyce from the next size up, where do you trace it? Do you mean to use the next size up for the upper bodice pieces all together?

    • @elroyfromny
      @elroyfromny 3 года назад

      No, trace the larger armscye (opening), onto the smaller bodice so that the bigger sleeve will fit.
