Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial ❤️
I always enjoy your videos.
@Nancy benson -thanks for your feedback!
Thanks again for Tips
I just love your videos!
@Dianne - thanks so much for your lovely comment...Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Clear explanation. It is very helpful because there is a before and after picture. I wish you made a series of videos on drag lines/ wrinkles : how to read them as well as the order of operations, i.e. when there are multiple drag lines, which one should be dealt with first.
And also, when is a drag line, wrinkle or fold OK ( e.g. the pattern has no darts: visible or not, style type like dolman sleeve, a.s.o. ) . When one is more like a perfectionist, every wrinkle or drag line becomes an issue while many times it isn't.
@Anca van der Meij - thanks for watching and I much appreciate your feedback. Pretty much on all of our fitting videos, I show the problem - wrinkles or unwanted folds - and then describe how to fix the situation. And yes, it's easy to become an over-perfectionist and let every fold bother you, when it most likely is a normal 'moving'. We live, eat, breathe and move in our clothing and folds/wrinkles are to be expected.
What about G H I J and K? Do you have a guide for that? Or do I just split it?
@marthabenner6528 - here is how to make the dart wider - ruclips.net/video/ElrQuT0EVgQ/видео.html
Very clear instructions thankyou, but I stil dont understand how you can subtract length of fabric in the side seam and it matches the back side seam. What does angling mean.
@Sylvia Shortman - all I'm doing is changing the angle of the side seam - not the length.
Hi Ms. Glenda I wish for you a happy day and many thanks for your educated channel, I learned a lot and still huhhh, Ms. Glenda about your tools, do you shipped to United Arab Emirates? Thank you so much
@Ms. unique - I'm glad you are learning a lot from our channel. Yes, we can ship to UAE. See this info page - surefitdesigns.com/pages/ordering-from-other-international-destinations
Great explanation. So, if you list 1/2 an inch along the side seam, do you add 1/2 inch to the bottom of the bodice and blend to 0at the waist dart? Won’t the back bodice side seam not match to the front?
@Crowtney - this process angles the back side seam, but does not shorten it, so no you don't need to add anything to the bottom of the back waist edge.
This is only smal cupsizes. What if you are a bigger cupsize? I am an F cup, and my daugther is an k cup
@Manja Sorensen - We have you covered too...Here's an article on enlarging our Adjust-A-Bust template - www.sfdlearningcenter.com/Enlarging_Adjust-A-Bust_Template.pdf and here is a video showing this process - ruclips.net/video/ElrQuT0EVgQ/видео.html - All shapes and sizes are taken into account with Sure-Fit Designs.
How do you do a fba on a knit dress?
@LibraGir1 - when using the Sure-Fit Designs pattern fitting system, you don't need to do an FBA
