This goes back to a previous interview. A lady mentioned the feeling she felt upon seeing her husband for the first time. " Her soul stood up" Later in the conversation she mentioned something that happened that did not line up with the initial revelation. You pi ked up on it immediately and sought out an accountability towards it.
"People have to get really intentional about affirming themselves, and if you begin to affirm yourself you're not looking externally for something that God already placed internally"....have to sit with that, so powerful
This episode was pure gold. Jessica is now my friend in my head. Who knew she was as silly and at times awkward as me. Even when she mentioned how she acts at out her sons to keep them from being soft, I relate to that as well. I wish her all the best.
Proverbs 17:22 tells us, "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones." Oh my God I needed that! I haven't seen anyone so authentic in a looooong time, I laughed out loud in my office while watching this, my goodness Jessica was hilarious!!! I absolutely loved her truth. Laterras, God is certainly picking your guests, Jessica was awesome, she is absolutely beautiful and her voice is incredibly anointed. Oooh Wee I went to bed in tears and telling God I don’t want to feel like this. I know the joy he’s put inside of me but circumstances in this season of my life are trying to rob me. This morning I wake up and THIS is the episode waiting on me...wow!!! God loves me, he cares about me, he’s intentional with me. I felt like I was looking at myself or this was a Mary and Elizabeth moment and Jessica was my Elizabeth a little further along on the journey. She was telling me yes it was painful lonely embarrassing but I WILL GET THROUGH THIS!!!! I will still laugh love and walk in joy! Ooh she really spoke when she talked about exposing the enemy inside the people who are hurting you and truly themselves cause he’s working on the inside of them 🤯🤯🤯 Listen I can talk about this episode for pages. She had me cracking up. It pays to be yourself the one God has for you will love ALL of you! I speak affirmations over myself at times.
I would watch a television series featuring just Jessica. Her expressions, the way she switches characters, it's riveting. I really love her. And can you please tell her I said thank you for that affirming part? I was weeping listening to that. I have struggled with loving my son since I had him four years ago and its been worse being in the middle of a divorce. Thank you so much!

I’d never heard of Jessica before this interview. She is now my BFF in my head😂. I absolutely love her sense of humor and wittiness! She is so authentic and I’m so happy she has healed. She got me when she said she is a loyal lover. Me too. When I love you, I love you no matter what. My thing is I need to be that loyal to loving myself the way I love others. Spent my entire life shapeshifting to fit the image whoever was around me at the time, was pleased with… Jessica just affirmed that God created me this way for a purpose, I’m definitely taking allll her advice on that self affirmation! When I tell you she is speaking my story, I just can’t even lie. That sweet talk, affirmation, and complimenting takes the weakened heart into a trance. Before you realize what is happening you’re so far into it you can’t turn around. I completely understand you sis. I’m so happy you’re healed. I’m taking a timeout from dating because I’m in a weakened state due to health but I’m waiting for an appointment to begin therapy. I can’t wait to transition.

This is my story....God sent me with my son too the other side of the country thinking I was going to another safety net of my newly found biological dad and then sent him away and said Walk daughter on this water. I am absolutely in love with this Queen. She is open, honest, and a representation of so many women. Forgiveness of yourself is one of the greatest gifts from God. When I look back at some of my poor choices I always think about the state of mind that I was in during those times. Jessica you captured me so well during this interview. Truly appreciated! My healing started 9 years ago and I am so in love with myself and chose not to make a move without God’s blessings 💜

Things really do happen for a reason and in the right time. Been celibate for 7yrs this July, and although I know God was disappointed in me and wanted me to wait until marriage it's definitely hard. And I have been contemplating giving away God's promises, so this video and the one with Essence Atkins has been amazing for me and reignited that spark and joy on waiting on who God has for me. Definitely don't want to miss out on God's promises and definitely want to give my all to my husband.
