@i.m_leigh That level of comprehension of one's own lineage is what informs Unathi's mother decision making if you listen to Unathi carefully about when her mother's advices for her to pursue legal charges against the people and powers that attack her honor, integrity and reputation. Unathi's mother tells Unathi of their family tree but in a future tense as she advises her "if you let these rumours go this is what they'll say about you when you're an ancestor that gogo Unathi got divorced because she cheated on her husband with a personal trainer and that will be your legacy" That's a powerful woman informing her daughter, another powerful woman about the importance of legacy and how much weight relies on your reputation. But we come from broken families and homes. It's hard to track back everyone and every information we need to know about our aspect of African Spirituality. 😢

I enjoyed Sis' Unathi on MetroFM and was confused about the Kaya-Sizwe-Unathi issue. I have fallen in love with her all over again. This is why I'd like Minnie Dlamini to visit, so we can experience events through her perspective. I hope she takes advantage of this opportunity to share her narrative in her own distinctive voice, and perhaps we'll get to see an unfamiliar aspect of her. I've always believed she's overly prepared (overly curated / extra careful with PR responses) for interviews and lacks openness! She doesn't have to speak what she thinks we want to hear; instead, she should be comfortable and own her own narrative. She can also take her time and arrive when she feels ready.Eventually, all of these famous people will let go of their animosity towards this platform and see it as a place where they can come to own their stories. We are all growing here!!! ❤

I love Unathi. Drove pass her the other day she was jogging, I assume that was her neighborhood which I won't mention. I wanted to stop and greet and yet I didn't want to disturb someone who was working out. Love her. It's good to see her on my favorite podcast.
Love her too she's such a wholesome woman
Sis Unathi came with her "Chillers Colours" on 🎉 10/10 for that jacket 🧥🔥

This one will rank as one of my all time best interviews. It's my first time listening to Unathi and she has completely changed my perception of her, which I had regretfully developed from the social media negativity she went through with the Sizwe issue.
Many thanks guys. Great interview Unathi.
After watching this. I was wondering why this episode was so short, Only to find out its been 2 hours 30 minutes. Dope episode 🔥🔥🔥
