Another great review! I finally found Elphaba at Walmart. I was so glad to grab her. Sometimes dolls are so pretty in the box until I don’t want to disturb them. lol I love the blonde Ted Laso doll. I don’t know about the show either but the doll is fabulous. These new releases make it hard to slow down on the dolly collection. I really like your coffee cup and warmer. See you in the next one! My preference for collecting is the “superstar era”. I grew up playing with Superstar Barbie and Christie, Golden Dream Barbie and Christie, Pink in Pretty, Black Barbie and Hispanic Barbie. They are my favorite ladies. I have two questions for you. 1. Is it a chore to dust your dolls and shelves and how often do you do it? I’d like to grow my collection but I’m weary due to the up keep. 2. How often do you rearrange your dolls and redress them? I find I get bored so quickly. No sooner do I restyle them then I’m tired of the look lol.
@@janetsplanet2947 hello and welcome 🤗 I have dolls all over my home and for me some rooms get dusty more than others and require dusting more at least twice a month. I have an electric air blower that I use. My doll room doesn’t get as dusty so I dust there a lot less. My mood determines how often I interact with my dolls, play therapy 🤭 I’m in my doll room everyday but I don’t always play with them, I just admire them, usually I choose outfits and styles I really like and they can stay in them for months, heck even a year 😂 I have a lot of dolls though, I’ve been collecting for over 35 years. I’m enjoying the dioramas, I quite enjoy the creating the scenes and photography.
@@daisydolls2024 it’s a warmer, keeps your beverage warm, I don’t like when my hot beverages get cold 🤭 most times I use my insulated cups but sometimes I like using my favorite mugs. Purchased from Amazon.
These are nice additions to your collection. I skipped on this Ken but I did order the set with Barbie around the campfire, which I am waiting for. I am also lucky that I only bought one of the original movie Kens: the one in the roller blades. So now I can buy the other one with Ryan's face, or even wait to see if they come out with other dolls with that mold. The thing with Kens is they seldom sell out. I have my eye on lots of dolls on the Barbie website if they have a sale of 25% off or more. The price does make a difference to me, especially because the dolls cost more in Canadian dollars. Usually it is 50% more, even though the exchange rate is less. I love that Juan Gabriel Barbie, but I didn't buy her when she first came out. Now, greedy Amazon US is charging $80 US ($110 CAD) for a price order guarantee when the doll releases on the website on the 14th. I guess this is because it sold out on Mattel Creations. It's disgusting when Amazon does market demand pricing rather than sticking to the MSRP. Anyway, I'm glad there are so many dolls because there is still enough for me to buy even when the occasional doll gets caught up in hype or distribution issues.
