Sorry about only being able to meet you at that tight road corner on Saturday. Hope you all had a great time. Best of luck on your videos. I like Japanese food minus the rice. That was some yummy vanilla pudding. Thanks!
Those looked more like spring rolls than egg rolls, which are great if that's what you're expecting, so I understand the disappointment, even if they were good. Food looked awesome and it's always great to watch y'all.
There a Hispanic gentleman that plays an accordion in the shopping center at Publix . Amazing talent. His family is usually there. I've seen people stopping to give him a donation so I usually do as well. They are always greatful and polite. The at another time I did a different gentleman playing a violin. My sister lives in another next to me. And she sent me a quick video of a gentle playing a violin at her Kroger shopping center.
Those were spring rolls… We have a great take out place here that recently opened up..just about two miles off the blvd. Haven’t tried it yet, but hope to soon. Serving hibachi, teriyaki, and many similar items from your menu here. No rice for me though..had to cut out all starches. My husband use to work for Charter Cable over 20 yrs ago, and worked in your area often then. Glad y’all are seeing growth. Take care and God bless.
Yes, those were definitely spring rolls. I just wish the menu had not advertised them as egg rolls, and we even ordered them as egg rolls. They were very small, but flavourful.
I love your channel! Been watching y'all for a while now! Where I'm from which is Grover N.C. those egg rolls y'all had are called spring rolls. We get them from Yamato's sometimes
There is a saxophone player in our Wal-Mart lot and on the other end a man and lady with children who says they are homeless. People have taken food to them but when they get enough money, they will put food in a buggy and leave it. They been doing that for about 6 months now. All we can do is PRAY🙏🏻 for them. Wonderful review, and thanks for sharing.
The wrapper does seem like it's not traditional American Chinese food style egg rolls.. but to be fair, there are plenty of "egg rolls" that use this type of wrapper. These are probably called egg rolls because of how they're prepared and the filling inside as a distinction from spring rolls, despite using the same rice paper wrapper. More familiar to us egg roll wrappers are an Americanized thing from Chinese Immigrants that are wheat flour instead of rice.
When I was watching this, I saw my hubby drive by in the white truck!! Lol Then we y'all head inside, my stepson and his wife are in front of y'all 😂. We live in Granite too!!
Wow! That's really neat. It's interesting to see a random video like that, and then see someone you know or are related to. I remember we were watching a guy filming a video around Christmas in Georgia a couple of years ago, and we saw ourselves walking on the street. That's always fun. Thank you for watching!
@@michellebumgarner6336 I was in the class of 1988. But I only went to South Caldwell through my sophomore year, and then I went to Tabernacle Christian School in Hickory. I'm trying to see if I can remember you.
@@NCMemoryMakers we have both said you both look familiar to us, we have probably seen you around the area. My husband says I can't remember anyone I went to school with. Lol
Yes, that's what they were. The menu advertised them as egg rolls, so that's why we expected them to be bigger. We ordered them as egg rolls. But yes, spring rolls is more accurate.
@@NCMemoryMakers take a look around your area and find a nice hibachi steak house that cooks in front of you and puts on the knife show. That’d make for a good review
@Shane Dozer Man We actually did one of those in Hickory a while back, but since we were there with a large group, and since it was for a friend's birthday, we didn't record it. But that would be a good idea.
Yes we live right next to Shelby and KM. The livermush festival is supposed to be held on October 21st this year! Would love for y'all to come down a make a video and maybe even meet y'all!
@Cheryl Bowens That would be good, but unfortunately, October is probably our busiest month trying to make videos of the fall leaves in the mountains. I had read that it was on June 4th of one year, and I was hoping it was going to be at that same time this year. We will definitely meet up sometime soon, but October is going to be tough for us. We're doing something pretty much every weekend. I know they also have one in Marion that is in October, and that is the reason we were hoping to do the one in Shelby, if it was another time of year.
Thanks for the review. Neither of us likes sushi but we LOVE hibachi food.
Food looked good review 👍 as always
It looks so yummy!! Love me some sushi and Japanese food!
Food looked good. I bet that was an exciting day in Granite City when Walmart opened in 2007!

Yes, we saw you as we were leaving, but we weren't sure it was you at the time.
@@NCMemoryMakers no problem, Have you ever heard of gospel music group NO NAME BUT HIS

Your food looked good. Have never seen such a small egg roll. We had a guy playing the violin in our Kroger parking lot before.

The food looked good, I like to go to Japanese buffet so I can try try all the yummy food.
Hello from Gatlinburg guys! Yes, that's something you don't see everyday..lol .
That violin guy was in Cullman, Alabama about 2 weeks ago at our Wal-Mart. Wow
Same guy?

That's a shame. You would think if they were really doing without, they would be grateful for the food.

That's very possible. I guess we were expecting them to be more typical of what you usually see in most restaurants.
