@@whatchuHANAdo I walked quite a bit to get there later at night, it is a little out of the way. It's pretty good. They also have a wide selection of side dishes you can order , like chili-shrimp, karaage, that sort of thing.
Sounds delicious! I’ll definitely give it a try!!
We love Kura! We have a handful near us here in So. California that we frequent, my kids love it so much and we compete to see who has the most plates at the end. Ours also has a robot that brings drinks and other things that aren’t made by the kitchen.
Awww that’s awesome!! Kura Sushi is definitely a family restaurant, even here in Japan! Parents love taking their kids to Kura because of the games! It keeps their kids happy haha I love that the US one has robots! That’s too cool!
Where are you from? You sound brazilian to me 😊
I do? Haha I’m from the Philippines but I get a lot of I look Latina in real life. :)
So excited to try Kura in Michigan next week!
When you touched the cover 😵💫 glad it didn’t spill on you!
Oh! Awesome!! Let me know how it goes and how much you get to eat! Haha
I know! I was being an idiot! Lol I usually don’t get from the belt that’s why. Hahaha
Nice!
When will it come to the US? We have conveyor belt sushi, but definitely not as cool as that
Hello! There are more than 30 Kura Sushi restaurants in the US! :) I don't think there are as many menu options as the ones in Japan, but a lot of people seem to like it! You can check here whether you live close to one! kurasushi.com/locations/
I live in Vegas where inari (my favorite) costs usd 5.00 per plate at a reputable sushi restaurant. That goes to show that this is a bargain.
Oh my! That’s quite expensive for inari sushi. Is it at least delicious?
My partner and I go to the Kura in Shanghai Plaza all the time! Lol
@@GimmeABeatMorty That means it's good ya? Yeyyyyy! :)
I’m in Canada and pay $5 for 2 pieces of Imari as well
Very cool
Contrary to popular belief, COVID is very very rarely transmitted by touch or contact. It is much much much more likely to be via air. That's what every place should spend their efforts and money on, the air not surfaces.
Oh wow! I didn't know! Earlier I think they thought it could be transmitted by touch or contact. People are still required to wear masks indoors here in Japan and people comply so I guess that's good knowing that it's much more likely to be transmitted through air!
Han oochi Wha Wha Wha!..any Pa Noochi Frinkle Puffer fishes on de menu hen?🐡
The slot for inserting dirty plates is brilliant.
Super brilliant!! 🤩 easier cleanup for the staff as well!
The rolls and the sama never tryed any other yet👍
You can't go wrong with rolls! I hope you get try more types soon! :)
Wow new Video!!!
YES! Haha every Sunday! hihi
Yer killin' me, I love sushi but I had a bariatric procedure so they removed 80% of my stomach, I could eat maybe 4 of those pieces =(
And that would have cost like 80 dollars here!!
Oh! I’m so sorry to hear that! How are you now? Hopefully doing well?
Also, 80$?! That’s expensive!! 😳
You don't put soy sauce on the rice, but rather on the topping instead
You’re absolutely right!! ☺️
That entire meal cost 25 BUCKS !?!?!?!?!? Wow. That is amazing value.
YES! Kura Sushi is definitely one of the more affordable sushi chains here in Japan! :)
Is there an option on the menu to have them bring you a coca cola with a glass of ice? If so, what would it cost?
Hello! I just looked at their menu and they don’t seem to have Coca Cola. 😔 kurasushi.j-server.com/LUCKURACO/ns/tl.cgi/www.kurasushi.co.jp/menu/?SLANG=ja&TLANG=en&XMODE=0&XJSID=0 that’s the menu if you want to check it out! Alcoholic drinks are on the side dish menu and the non-alcoholic drinks are on the desserts menu! ☺️
Kura is the best, I always go get sushi at these places here in Los Angeles.
That's awesome! It's great that you have access to a Kura! :) What is your favorite dish to order?
@@whatchuHANAdo I always go for Nigiri of salmón, and blue fin toro.
when u lift the plate up the cover should automatically open so no need to lift cover
Hahaha I realized that after what I did. I was being an idiot. Hahaha
I like this vid. Good insight.
I really appreciate that, Gerry! Do you love going to sushi restaurants, as well? ☺️
Man this woman can eat....a lot😂😂😂😂😂😂❤
Thank you! I take that as a compliment! Haha ☺️
@@whatchuHANAdo I love watching you eat because you do justice to the delicious food🙏
I love salmon more than tuna lol funny thing was it tasted funny to me at first but now I lovvve Salmon.
Oh! Another salmon girl, like me! ❤️ when did you have your first sushi? ☺️ I don’t remember when I had my first one ever but I think I instantly loved salmon!
It’s great that even though it tasted funny to you at first, you tried it again and eventually loved it!
@@whatchuHANAdo I don't really remember lol but I think I tried it at buffets and didn't like it. I didn't like the soft slightly salty texture. Then my mom got me some sushi from Safeway which tasted better lol I guess it's an acquired taste for me. Now I prefer all kinds of salmon sushi. My friend got me to try poke bowl and I looove it! 😁❤️
Awwww that’s awesome! I love a good poke bowl too! I’m so glad you like it! A lot of people can’t even imagine eating raw fish. I’m the only one in my immediate family who eats sushi. Lol
They are building one of these near me and I can’t wait to go, super cool to see this sneak peek
Oh yeyyyyy! I'm glad they're opening one near you! Some of my friends had to go to a different state! I hope you get some really good sushi sooon!
How much was the Bill in American money?!!
Hello, Lunah! The bill was ¥3,432 or exactly $25.36(as of July 28, 2022). :)
Nice vid. I'm a Sushiro guy but Kura would be my second choice,
Thank you so much! :) I should do a video on sushiro next! They have a lot of better options in my opinion!
Don't really get why you frown each new sushi bite you take before you've tasted it but, hey, the sushi looks delicious.
Honestly I didn’t really understand why I looked a little angry in this video too! Haha I think I was trying so hard to make sure that I ate the whole piece in one bite? I’m not sure! I got a little weirded out when I was editing the video too. 😅
@@whatchuHANAdo lol yeah you looked so angry eating somehow 😂
looks so good OH MY GOD
It was really good!! 🤤 Is there a Kura Sushi near you? :)
@@whatchuHANAdo @WHATchuHANAdo About 100+ miles away is closest! :( Might be worth the drive though after seeing how much you enjoyed!!

It was per piece! :) I was able to eat 40 in my All-You-Can-Eat sushi video and that’s my max number I think! Haha
What a shame. You missed out on getting the grilled *eel. Probably one of the best sushis.
Next time I’ll have some and show it! :)
I don't experienced sushi but we usually don't eat raw food except vegies
Would you be willing to try sushi? 😳
@@whatchuHANAdo here in Pakistan a five Sar hotel pearl continantal hotel serve sushi. But I need to know more about it. I cannot say anything clear about it
that's not very expensive. Im New Zealand that would have cost about $100 (10,000 yen).
Wooow that’s a lot of money 😳 we can get higher quality sushi with ¥10,000!
That’s insane, I’ve worked at 3 kuras in the US we definitely need to catch up.
Oh really?? What is it like in the US? Is it super different? I heard it's more expensive!
Which ones? I've been to Vegas, Seattle, LA and New jersey lol
I appreciate that you expressed social anxiety and minimal interaction as it being normal 🤗
🫶🏼 and thank you for acknowledging it! I appreciate you!
DAMN! Girl can eat!
Thank you so much! I take that as a massive compliment! :)
We went to a new one in Michigan last week, it was great but very small.
Unfortunately we were seated at the very last table at the end of the conveyor so most of the passing covers were empty but being able to place orders was great.
Awwwww oh no. 😔 sorry to hear that…honestly though, I rarely get from the conveyor belt, especially now. I hope you do get to return though and really get to experience it fully! ☺️
This is a prefect family style restaurant. I wish we have this in the US.
Yes! That’s right! I believe Kura Sushi has around 30 branches in the US! ☺️ I hope there’s one near you!
Was that the fast lane on top? Became a follower.
Yes! The fast lane is on top of the conveyor belt! ☺️ it’s the lane that brings you your orders directly! Thank you so much for subscribing! I really appreciate it! 💕
I think I want to retire to Japan......sigh. why cant America have such cool places.
Come on over! ❤️ I think America has some cool places too but yea Japan is something else. 💕
Thank you so much for doing this video - it is on our list if we are able to enter Japan next May 🤞🤞🎌
The menu / picking of dishes you can do via your phone in English - but the paying side, can that be done in English too??
Hi, Anthony! Wow I really hope Japan reopens by then, my family wants to come and visit as well! Haha Japan is waiting for you!
Yes, definitely! There are English translations right under the Japanese. And if you need help, there's also a cashier! :)
Good video!!
Awww thank you so much! Do you love sushi??? :)

There seems no way to make a reservation if you can't understand Japanese. No option on their website and apparently the app is a joke as you need a Japanese phone number.
Girl u can eat good 😊 did u see what kind of desserts they had while there?
Hahahaha thank you!! I love eating, especially my favorite foods. 😂 they have quite the variety of desserts ranging from ice cream cream puffs, cakes, shaved ice, sweet potatoes, ice cream, fruits, mochi, and seasonal items! Haha I think if I was able to eat double the amount in the video I’d definitely try out being a food fighter!
Wow I just converted that into £s and that is so cheap!!!! About £21 pounds!!!!
Yes!! It’s extremely affordable!! ❤️
My favorite food👍
Mine toooo! DELICIOUS! What's your favorite sushi? :)
There's a New Zealand woman who ate 46 plates of sushi at a place like this.
Oh wow that’s amazing! Is she a good fighter??? The most I’ve ever had was 40 pieces. Lol what about you?? :) do you like sushi?
@@whatchuHANAdo My most memorable sushi experience was in Osaka Japan. It was a small place and you needed reservations. Gladly I was not paying, since the bill for four people worked out to just over $650 CAD per person. It was a series of the best sushi I ever had. I think it was 14 different pieces. Each had to eaten at optimal temperature, so we ate right after the sushi master made it. We were also instructed the best way to eat each piece. The problem is now I see that as the bar for any sushi restaurant I visit. I think back to that day when I had the best sushi eating experience of my life.
@@scottbrandon6244 OH MYYYYY! That's a lot of money but I'm absolutely sure it was so worth it! That restaurant most probably changes their menu daily to have the freshest fish available in the market. I've always wanted to go to a restaurant like that! I'm positive it will be impossible to match that experience unless you go to a restaurant similar like that. The experience in itself sounds AMAZING!
The one in Watertown, Mass is really dirty.
That’s so sad! 😖
