I'm back with another sushi video since you guys like it so much! I was really curious about the largest conveyor belt sushi restaurant in the world, so I had to give it a visit. Kura Sushi is a very well-known conveyor belt sushi restaurant chain in Japan and it's such an awesome family restaurant! This branch just opened 3 months ago so I've really been dying to go. My sushi cravings have definitely been satisfied! How many pieces did I eat? Watch to find out!
Arigathankyouuuuu for watching!

These conveyor belt sushi restaurants fascinate me so much
I’m glad they do! They fascinate me as well and I don’t get tired of going! Haha
same.
Just found your channel. Love it. Congrats on success to date. Time to binge 😊
Oh thank you so much for stumbling upon our channel! ❤️ and I’m happy you love it! Time for sushi?? 🥳
Thanks for the fun video. I am a professional producer/editor and Mixer for TV and film and I also work on a few large RUclips channels. Just a quick suggestion; get a voiceover baffle for your microphone so you're not getting early reflection that sounds like a quick echo? It will make your voice over sound better and connect you to the audience more clearly. Good luck and thanks for the fun video!
Oh wow!! Thank you so much for the suggestion! I’ll definitely do my best to get a voiceover baffle for my microphone! Searching now. :) thank you so much again!
or something similar depending on what type of Mic you are using. Good luck and have fun!
$3000 yen for all of that??!! What a bargain!!
I know! Pretty fortunate to be living in the land of sushi!
¥
LOL
I would have eaten 2 more plates just to make 25 so that I would have another chance at winning a prize 😂😂😂
Hahahaha I know!! If we hadn’t won a prize yet at that point, I would have eaten two more plates too! 🤣
Ours gives a prize at 15 plates
i cant believe how cheap that meal was
Kura Sushi is extremely affordable! :)
@@whatchuHANAdo if i ordered that much in the uk it would cost closer to nearly a £100 or more and you would not get full pieces of fish like you did at kura
@@Viper6332 oh my! That is extremely expensive! :( Kura Sushi is very much like a family restaurant here in Japan and have the games so that the kids remain interested. You can get higher quality sushi for that amount of money!
Can’t believe you spend $25 for all of that sushi you ordered!!! Aaaaaaah can’t wait to go back!!!!
Is that a good price? hahahaha COME BACK TO JAPAN NOW PLEASE LET'S HAVE SUSHI!
@@whatchuHANAdo I ate at Kura in Atlanta, GA last week and that same amount of food would have been $74.36 with tax and about 89 bucks with tip! And the quality of the food is much more superior in Japan! Not to mention the majority of what you ordered isn’t available at our location.
@@binhnham2512 I would consider that super expensive! With that I could have gone to a better sushi restaurant with higher quality slices of fish. I guess it's time to come over here to Japan to get that sushi fix!
Thank you for sharing your experience at the Largest Kura in Japan. We have a Kura Sushi in the San Francisco Bay Area (Cupertino), but it is not that big. BTW, you probably already know by now, but for the sushi with lid, you should lift ONLY the plates (NOT the lid) and the lid will automatically open.
Thank you so much! I am an idiot! 😂 I normally don’t take from the conveyor belt so yes, the struggle was definitely real with that one! 😅
How is the Kura Sushi over there? Is it popular as well?
@@whatchuHANAdo Hi Hana, there’s a Kura where I live in TX, and it’s popular. The waits can get to two hours on busy nights! Sadly the quality/cleanliness will never be up to par with Japan, but it’s satisfactory for my Americanized taste buds 😂. Also, you get the toy automatically after 15 plates. There is no game in the US
We have a Kura that opened up in Torrance California, I believe they charge $3.29 per plate. Haven't tried it yet but I have been to several revolving sushi bars. I like the idea of instant sushi rather than having to wait.
Oh! That’s a little expensive per plate! Which other sushi bars have you been to? ☺️ were they good?
in japan they're 0.75 per plate and the quality is higher than the ones in usa. thats why I never been to those stores when i was in the US. Pure rip off.
At 2:57, if you don't want to touch the filthy tablet that everyone else has touched, you can touch a phone that you never clean and use when you're on the toilet. Ha! I'm just being cheeky. Great video.
Ahahahaha you’re absolutely right but at least it’s only my filthy hands that have touched my phone 🤣
i don't like raw salmon on my sushi.... i only eat the vegetarian sushi....
SPICY CRISY SUSHI IS THE BEST
Vegetarian sushi is great too! I love sour plum and cucumber sushi! 🤤
It took you half the video to actually eat.
Haha yes 😅 I tend to explain quite a bit even in food videos.
She is so underrated she deserves a lot more
That’s the sweetest…thank you so much. ❤️ I’m happy with every single view and comment! So thank you for making me smile this morning!
If she keeps it up, she'll be there! 😊
They need more places like this outside Japan 🇯🇵 amazing 🤗🤗
Definitely!! I heard there are a lot in the US! ☺️ where are you from?
They do have it in the US but not as nice and clean as this one.
Yes, there are 30+ Kura Sushi restaurants in the US. ☺️ @mylittlegirl018 have you been? What is it like??
that's not very expensive. Im New Zealand that would have cost about $100 (10,000 yen).
Wooow that’s a lot of money 😳 we can get higher quality sushi with ¥10,000!
Wow I just converted that into £s and that is so cheap!!!! About £21 pounds!!!!
Yes!! It’s extremely affordable!! ❤️
Why do you look so mad, worried, confused, irritated every time you eat one?
Haha I’m not entirely sure why I looked so mad in this particular video! I have different looks when I eat but I’m really not sure why I looked that way here. I was actually really enjoying myself in this video though! Hahaha
Love your video!!! :D You're making us crave for conveyor belt sushi!!! XD
Kuya Briaaaaan! Yeyyyy! Please please please eat some sushi for meeeee! It's soooo good! There are 30 branches of Kura Sushi in the US! hihihi
Hi amazing video, i'm planning travel to japan and have a question, i can take whatever dish from the lower belt? And the upper is for the specific orders right? 😮
Thank you so much for watching! ☺️ yes, that’s absolutely right! :) I’ve always found it cool that the upper belt is so fast but will always stop at the right table! So fascinating!
Where are you from? You sound brazilian to me 😊
I do? Haha I’m from the Philippines but I get a lot of I look Latina in real life. :)
You don't put soy sauce on the rice, but rather on the topping instead
You’re absolutely right!! ☺️
There is a Kura Outside of Atlanta about 30 minutes from em and it is pretty great. Much smaller, but still nice when it isn't too busy. Thanks for sharing!
Ooooh! How are the menu options over there? Is it good? ☺️
@@whatchuHANAdo Not as nice as Japan, but they do a good job! Def a spot to go to when I am on that side of the city.
I love how the special order sushi flies by on the top conveyor belt. It's so funny.
“Flies” is the best word to describe it! I cannot tell you how many times I missed my chance to film the special orders hahahaha it’s super fun!
I still enjoy ordering from the menu than the revolving conveyor bar. I was at Kura Friday How come the Kura here have no games? Oh I saw that screen on the table I’ll use it next time I might win a car! Rarely do, Love The Uni roll!!!!And their cold sake!
Good comfort food ! Great video vlog im still learning a lot!
Same! I rarely get plates from the conveyor belt, unless it’s at my favorite one in Shibuya haha I think the Kura there is similar to the normal ones here in Japan! :) the ones with big screens are only in a few branches here! :)
The cold sake is delicious!! When you get to come here, you should go to a sushi restaurant everyday! Haha
The Salmon looked delicious. 👍
It really was! 🤤
@@whatchuHANAdo There's a location in Schaumburg Illinois. I must go try it. 😁 THANK YOU
That entire meal cost 25 BUCKS !?!?!?!?!? Wow. That is amazing value.
YES! Kura Sushi is definitely one of the more affordable sushi chains here in Japan! :)
All that food for about $25 USD and it looks like such a fun experience. Wow. It looked like a really large amount of food though much of it is rice.
Right? :) haha cheap but delicious! It didn’t feel like too much rice but it probably was a lot of rice. Hahaha
$25... For all that sushi
Yes! What a steal right??
Not that i blame them but you can clearly see the amount of rice compared to the fish/protein. So much rice to protein ratio. I understand though because it's very afforable.
I don't experienced sushi but we usually don't eat raw food except vegies
Would you be willing to try sushi? 😳
@@whatchuHANAdo here in Pakistan a five Sar hotel pearl continantal hotel serve sushi. But I need to know more about it. I cannot say anything clear about it
Everything they can do to combat Covid, opens drawer to see stacks of utensils touched by every visitor….
I just checked the number of seats in this place and yeah it's massive. I thought the Kappa Sushi in Nagano was already plenty big.
Yes it’s pretty massive! I was surprised too! :) I’ve never tried Kappa Sushi! Any good? :)
@@whatchuHANAdo I walked quite a bit to get there later at night, it is a little out of the way. It's pretty good. They also have a wide selection of side dishes you can order , like chili-shrimp, karaage, that sort of thing.
Sounds delicious! I’ll definitely give it a try!!
Очень приятное видео .

There seems no way to make a reservation if you can't understand Japanese. No option on their website and apparently the app is a joke as you need a Japanese phone number.
Yuppp.. yummy
It really was! 🤤
I live in Vegas where inari (my favorite) costs usd 5.00 per plate at a reputable sushi restaurant. That goes to show that this is a bargain.
Oh my! That’s quite expensive for inari sushi. Is it at least delicious?
My partner and I go to the Kura in Shanghai Plaza all the time! Lol
@@Thiccaroni That means it's good ya? Yeyyyyy! :)
I’m in Canada and pay $5 for 2 pieces of Imari as well
when u lift the plate up the cover should automatically open so no need to lift cover
Hahaha I realized that after what I did. I was being an idiot. Hahaha
Very cool
Contrary to popular belief, COVID is very very rarely transmitted by touch or contact. It is much much much more likely to be via air. That's what every place should spend their efforts and money on, the air not surfaces.
Oh wow! I didn't know! Earlier I think they thought it could be transmitted by touch or contact. People are still required to wear masks indoors here in Japan and people comply so I guess that's good knowing that it's much more likely to be transmitted through air!
Where to reserve online like in this vid? Can’t see how to do
Genki sushi in Hawaii had the touch to order before Covid was even a thing the sushi there looks ok but I’m more a salmon and tuna kinda guy with ebi shrimp and backed mussel those things are amazing at genki sushi lol
Oh that’s really cool! Everyone one must have followed suit after! Maybe I should do a video on genki sushi next? 🤔
You forgot the soy sauce and the wasabi!
I went here last night in Watertown MA. Our restaurant was 15 plates to get a prize . It was fun!!! The kids loved it. Our drinks came on a robot as well.
Whaaaaat your drinks came on a robot?? That's so cool! I would love to see that! That makes everything even more fun! :)
15 plates to get a chance at winning? That's a lot of plates to get a chance!

@@keithannjoachim6781 You can never go wrong with tiger rolls and real crab meat! yummm! Your son has great taste! Haha I used to be a teacher here in Japan and, of course, a lot of the kids love sushi. The younger ones though usually eat the veggie ones or egg ones first. I guess that's the training period? Hahaha
Yer killin' me, I love sushi but I had a bariatric procedure so they removed 80% of my stomach, I could eat maybe 4 of those pieces =(
And that would have cost like 80 dollars here!!
Oh! I’m so sorry to hear that! How are you now? Hopefully doing well?
Also, 80$?! That’s expensive!! 😳
We love Kura! We have a handful near us here in So. California that we frequent, my kids love it so much and we compete to see who has the most plates at the end. Ours also has a robot that brings drinks and other things that aren’t made by the kitchen.
Awww that’s awesome!! Kura Sushi is definitely a family restaurant, even here in Japan! Parents love taking their kids to Kura because of the games! It keeps their kids happy haha I love that the US one has robots! That’s too cool!
this restaurant makes gambling seem legit.

@@whatchuHANAdo My most memorable sushi experience was in Osaka Japan. It was a small place and you needed reservations. Gladly I was not paying, since the bill for four people worked out to just over $650 CAD per person. It was a series of the best sushi I ever had. I think it was 14 different pieces. Each had to eaten at optimal temperature, so we ate right after the sushi master made it. We were also instructed the best way to eat each piece. There’s a Kyra in Sacramento, California. Each plate is $3.50 USD. The highlight is the robot server, who I sternly told I would not be tipping equipment. The sushi is ok, Sacramento is not exactly known for its food. However, their inari is the best I’ve ever had, including my own. The garlic rice is so salty I found it inedible. I ordered miso soup which was barely warm, and the tofu bites were refrigerator temperature. When I see people at Kuras outside the US, I’m so jealous.
Hello! $3.50 is a little expensive for a plate, no? I shall research on the robot server! I don’t think we have that in our Kura Sushi branches in Japan!
I’m sad to hear that the sushi was just okay and that the garlic rice was inedible. 😞 so when you do go to Kura Sushi, you usually just order the inari? ☺️
