- Who better to show you around every single area of The Crucible than Stephen? World Snooker allowed Cue Tips cameras an access all areas pass to tour Snooker's most famous venue and we took full advantage. Stephen zipped around The Crucible with microphone in hand, telling stories of his memories there and interviewing people along the way, including John Parrott and Rob Walker. The Cue Tips team also spoke to the fans in the streets of Sheffield and World Championships final referee, Brendan Moore, who is taking charge of his final-ever snooker match. This really is the only guide you'll ever need to The Crucible! So stick this on between the final sessions and enjoy!

@@toziassmitt Ronnie is better by Hendry by miles...He leads Hendry in finals and overrall..If you look at their match ups..9-4 in finals to Ronnie ,and 30-21..Hendry wins were by slim margins..When Ronnie won most times against Hendry,he hammered him with huge margins.Ronnie at his best far better than hendry at his best!

Stephen Hendry was great in his day, Ronnie is great they have both given their life to the game of snooker. Ronnie is the best ever, in my opinion, but shooting down hendry is childish. JV is such a great commentator. He injects so much passion into his commentary. More he ages the better his voice. Same goes for Dennis T. Great to see that’s there’s life after retiring from snooker. Hendry is heading exactly the same way. Keep up the great work.

JV needs to pack it up. His inane/insane ramblings are too much.
JV and Stephen together are great to listen to, Dennis Taylor and Ken Doherty on the other hand send me to sleep!, also John Parrott doesn't add anything always just pointing out the obvious and his attempts at humour are really cringy!

10:38 Ive only been to the Crucible once back in 2008, I was in the front row on table 1 watching Ronnie in the first round against a young Chinese lad, and I gotta admit, Rob Walkers opening presentation actually gave me chills and made me really feel like I was part of something! his enthusiasm is top notch

Stephen and JV are my favourite commentators. Love Rob Walker, he was great every time I went to the Crucible, gets the crowd into it before the match starts. I remember him introducing Brendan Moore for his first ever match at the Crucible, thought he was a good ref from the first time I saw him. Will be sad to see him go.
Stephens hilarious, he’s tired of watching boring safety play - must be beaming with how Luca is playing, the right way!

I loved seeing AND hearing Virgo & Stephen in the booth! ☺️ After hearing them for so many years it’s so cool to watch them talking for a few seconds during a match 👏👏
Also, sticking a mic in Walker’s face was very deserving .. 😅 he works hard sure, but I’ve often thought that he isn’t as cognizant as Hazel or others when interviewing the losers .. he has too big a smile on his face and it’s not appropriate in those situations.

Been a great year, the 147 last night was memorable. Hoping to go to the crucible next year!
Stephen is a natural, everything he has done after his snooker career, he is exceptional, Stephen would have been a huge success in any endevour he chose.

Enjoyed the little chat with Rob Walker. He really is very adept when it comes to interviewing players when passions are high and he is a great commentator and MC. He doesn't get enough appreciation at all.

The place seems a lot bigger than I thought. I know places always look bigger through a wide angle lens, but still it seems odd that some players complain that it's too small.
And the number of corridors is amazing - you could easily get lost, I think.
The crucible truly is the home of snooker to think it comes under pressure every few years to keep the world championships is astonishing

Long before the land of Sky Sports. This was my life. This was my childhood. Age 9 and in awe of the ‘85 final and early teens watching Stephen dominate the ‘90s. Wonderful, wonderful memories.
