I was thinking a Cylonix Shapeshifter or even a LXR-02 drum module, but both won’t fit. 😢But there’s a universe of eurorack opportunities to chose from so it’s not a deal breaker. A bunch of 2hp modules would be fun but I wonder how many connections are available.
@@MySilver5oh ...The Cylonix was my first idea and i agree with your estimation...so it could be nice to install a Q-Bit Nebulae or a Makenoise Morphagene maybe ? The very interest of this system is that you're not forced to travel with a whole modular case, you can just go out for a WE with just a secondary bag containing about 4 or 5 modules that you can change when youy want ! ;-)
Endorphines Ghost , sequencer, or a 1010music bluebox for recording, if this has enough amps on the 5V rail... (I checked section 16.2 in the manual, and it doesn't list the modular power supply specs, so could you please tell me how many milliamps the 5V rail is getting?)
A surprisingly warm sounding synth, analog but with its own unique sounding filters and character. Sounds like it has many possibilities, thanks for sharing!
This one have so many knobs and function so i would stop right there and NOT jump in a rabbit hole of eurorack. Taiga looks and sounds cool enough to call of the search for perfect bleep-blop, to me. Cool synth! Gotta love it.
Oh. ...... My........ God. 😮 Ordering asap 💪😎👆🎬 Just as the Matriarch goes so well with the Grandmother. . . . The T.Keys will be amazing with my OG Taiga 😅
Nice! I have a question: I'm new to the modular (semi mod) game. Could also put let's say a Behringer Victor (wavetable synth) into these slots and therefore extend the sound engine? Thanks!
I have the original Taiga desktop, and I can say that you can send pitch and gate out from it, and received audio back into it. I have combined it with another synth voice in that way. I don't know the Behringer Victor in any detail, but from looking at a picture I'm pretty sure that it would be fine too. And, with the Taiga Keyboard, you could slot it right into the body of the synth and use it from there.
Im new into Semi-Modular and only have the Moog Mavis, and i'm stuck between getting either the non-keys Taiga or a used GrandMother next. Even though Mavis already has a wave-folder, I want to dip my toes into west-coast synthesis even more and have the unique Taiga sound. Though it's hard to decide because the GrandMother has all the "Moogy goodness".
@@JMGtII Yeah, I gave it a 2nd look and my Euroburo ain't gon' fit. :( I think I'd get modules which would allow me to input/output 1/4" and XLR audio sources.
I bought this brand new and can't get a signal trying to go straight into an amp, it doesn't come w directions, and Pittsburgh modular has not gotten back to me in 3 days, I want to keep it but might have to return it...any clues?
Hi S4OLAEN3N. Depending on how you think of it, the answer is either infinite or zero. Being an analog modular synthesizer it has no preset memory. -_Daniel_
I thought it looked pretty neat. It reminds me of the stellar classification chart and star surface temperature colours from when I was an astrophysics student at UofCalgary.

A complex LFO or 2

Additional MIDI CC to CV, effects, wave folder...

This taiga keyboard synthesizer sounds gnarly!
Wow….i was not expecting the sound coming out of that! Sounds incredible! Even low notes! Unique in sound and architecture
Wow, that filter has to be one of the best I have ever heard!
Tiaga desktop was the first Monosynth I was excited about in a while. The extra LFO and the keys make this the most exciting mono synth for years.
This is really cool and very exciting to see Pittsburgh making a keyboard synth!
I love Daniel's keyboard playing.
I've had the original Taiga for a year but I think this keys version is a must have too! Great job Richard.
Gotta LOVE original mono synths like this being released!
Love the sound of this thing.
thanks for sharing, great synth, Taiga keys!
Dan O. The best synth pitch man in the history of Ever.
Pretty cool. That small amount of HP will be the gateway to eurorack addiction for many people😈
i feel seen haha
Jesus 🙏🏻. This I call a great concept! It’s sounds amazing! I like the idea of making room for some modular elements! 🤘🏻✌🏻✨🔥🕊
Really dope and unique sound, but can we talk about how THE PRICE is SO RIGHT?
This sounds awesome 😮
Lovely machine!

Not jumping in huh?……..that’s what we all said….😢
@@andrewjustin174 haha bro
Look forward to when they make their first poly synth!
It looks fun.
Next synth from Pittsburgh modular should be named JAGR :-)
Two experts at their best, which was interesting to watch 🤖
Very nice
Awesome!!!❤❤💯💯

Dammm you Sweetwater! Making me spend all my money!
3 Hands on a monosynth :D
I think we made it to 4 hands some of the time. -_Daniel_

You know what? I'd throw my Euroburo in the patch bay if it'll fit.
What else could you possibly need!? Only have 24 available hp. Euroburo is 34hp 😢

Who wrote the description for this video? Who is Ricky Pitts?! "the brainchild of synthesis scion Ricky Pitts..."
Richard Nicol is Ricky Pitts (of Pittsburgh Modular)
@@DaveMcCall Ricky Pitts doesn't exist anywhere on the web except for this announcement. Seems more like an AI hallucination to me.

pittsburgh dual vca module.

Great, sounds the same as all of the others... but with coloured knobs!
How many memory slots for user sounds?

Accept and commit to the Tibetan Sand Art paradigm of modular synthesis.
eh? It's semi modular - take a picture of your patch - hundreds of them!
Nice, but the financing is only for 6 months.
Sounds good but the design feels lackluster
