You have the ports wrong. Cisco moved the ports around on the 8851. The second cable connects to the 3rd port (AUX) not the 1st port (Ethernet). Not sure why Cisco did that but on the older models which you are probably used to it was AUX, Ethernet, PC. On the 8851 it is Ethernet, PC, AUX. Thanks, DJ

How do you connect it in Cisco Unified? I know how to plug it into the phone! The ports are size specific its not that hard.

Mine doesn't have APC or APU cables

I had to buy them seperately. I got mine from Amazon.
My headset cuts off every 30 seconds or so and I need to turn it back on... mid conversation... any suggestions how to fix this?
Most likely a faulty cable, time to replace.
Did you ever find a solution for this? Got a new Cisco phone and now the headset disconnects every 30 seconds
