- After the 21 days' lockdown was imposed, lakhs of migrant Indian labourers have lost their jobs. They have been forced to return home, hundreds of kilometres away from Indian cities.
No public transport is available. So they are left with no other option but to walk.

Being a past resident of Delhi, I understand their position especially when they said the landlords would charge rent even if he knows all works have been stoped. In Delhi, there is no word such as sympathy in the heart of such landlords. They are the real culprits leading to the failure of 21 days lockdown.
i'm shocked after reading comments that delhi landlords are heartless, tenants and landlords should come up with some arrangements. If landlord is not cooperating than tenants should ask them to take rent in installments in the coming months.

Either he is stupid or he trusts that those people have no viral infections from Coronavirus. Either ways he broke the social distancing the WHO is trying to make us aware of. Just because it tears you up with joy doesn't mean he did the right thing. He could have infected them in the car or could have gotten himself and his crew infected because of high supposed "good deed". Government should clarify that more clearly and try to help them by giving food and money in order to pay rent.
These people have no logic. Give them bicycles and let them go home. There are plenty of bicycles rusting. And these people walking have no common sense. They think its easy to walk 200 km without food. Now that they arranged buses people are over crowding and it can be a disaster. Hence the bicycle idea was the best and the cheapest. And it can help people reach much faster without draining a lot of energy also taking care that people are not in close contact with each other.

It is actually even more of a reason for the pm to hold daily press conferences so that shortcomings could be relayed back as feedback. Compare India to any developed country, NZ/AUS/Netherlands/Germany/UK/USA, all these countries are having their pm/presidents holding press conferences answering questions! It hurt me when they asked if the baby had milk... I know the feeling of not being able to fully provide for your child and it really does hurt, a true stab to the heart. State government should do for them .. Kejriwal used to free every thing but now in front of crisis he is not taking steps ..
Delhi government did not help them and only did press conferences.
In Pakistan situation is different even if the government doesn't help then people by themselves create donation funds for such displaced people. The Pakistani government will cut 5 to 25% salary of government servants this month to help poor people in this difficult time. If no government is doing anything you can help those people. If all privileged people stand for unprivileged people this dark night will eventually ends.

When the govt can airlift the Indians from other countries, then why can't these poor people be moved to their homes, where at least they have their shelter and the minimum food availability.
This is inhuman.
They should be provided food an accommodation wherever they are by the local administration
So sad to see , Indians have been so good to me and I would walk with the migrants , they are the real people 👳🇮🇳👳 .
