Enjoyed your video great presentation May I add you never mentioned spike suppression terminals 85 &86 are polarity sensitive with a diode across the coil anyway a basic resistor across the coil doesn’t matter .All ways replace with exact relay The only way to check a diode across the coil is with an analog ohmmeter.Diode check will not check the diode it actually will give a voltage drop with test leads either way I realize most relays use a simple resistor Use correct part number on relay for replacement Cheers

I am an electrician's apprentice in an industrial setting. Now I am wondering if we can test relays the same way. I think that I would need 24V to test most of them.
Yes, you should be able to test them the same way. I have worked with 110v AC relays and they work the same way. So 24v relays should be the same. All the relays I used in the video are for automotive use and are (DC) direct current. Just be aware if you're working with (DC) or (AC) alternating current.
