I can spot a fluffer a mile of and you my friend have got a talent. Top fluffering
A way to get fluffer without performance loss is to install a pipercross/k&n filter that fits the stock airbox. It keeps your engine safer than a cone filter and is easier to swap in, and flows better than stock (so it makes noise too)
Also EGR delete forces it to flutter more but at your own risk, it can be illegal for road use and you need to remap afterwards.
Does this make your non turbo car get that flutter noise to?
@@Issacko2431 the flutter sound is a direct result of the turbocharger trying to chop up the air in your intake when the engine speed changes suddenly (which is why you usually hear it when pressing the clutch to change gear).
It is not possible to naturally get this sound in a non turbo car, no matter what you do to the intake, since it is the turbo that makes the sound. If you install performance parts on the intake of a N/A car it will mainly just be same sound as stock but louder and maybe a little deeper tone.
You can get small fans and stuff you can put in your exhaust that will mimic the turbo sound, but they are naff nick-nacks and do not benefit vehicle performance in any way. However, if its your first car, I'll let you off. Its OK to have fun!

Egr is ok in the UK. Just make sure u get the right plate for Ur make
so a pipercross or a kn filter is better than a normal cone filter i got for like 20 bucks?

What you are doing is blocking off the wastegate actuator vaccuum line. If anyone wants to do this, just unplug that line, because zipties can break the line and it will be irreversible.
do you know if this works on diesel engines as well? ive heard it doesnt.

Flutter not fluffer, huge difference. It only FLUTTERS when you are into the Throttle because the increases demand on the turbo. It's also should have nothing to do with your take off response. If anything you should have more response especially if you were just into it and get back into it. Some people say you're damaging your turbo. I wouldn't say damaging. You are wearing out the bearing sooner. That flutter is the turbo releasing boost pressure instead of your blow off circuit. If you like the sound, keep it. Just maintenance your turbo sooner.

Just remove the pipe off the top of the blow off valve and put a screw in the end of the pipe to block it. It will flutter all the time then.
Remove the diverted valve cable just unclip the cable and it will do it so much better

I need some help. My friend has got a 2008 SEAT Ibiza. It’s got no modifications really done to it, but he really wants his car to sound exactly like that. How can I be done without spending a crazy about of money.

Unplugging the connector will stop working and cause the compressor stall. The ECU will also see it and store a fault, with the likelihood of impaired performance.
The only way you will get turbo pigeon sounds is to remove the blow off completely and have an cold air intake with no air box the air box takes away the intake sounds
Bro the flutter is air getting cut by the turbo blades. When the air comes back into the turbo wrong direction thats the flutter. Unplug the dv en the air hets back in the turbo turbo will break at the end.

Just buy a dump valve pal before tou kill your car. Crimping the vac pipe will not help you build any boost....

@@Liam19911 Yes it doesn't kill your turbo not running a blow off valve or bypass valve, people here literally running 40+ psi for years, it's quite common for people not to run them.

Asking to spit a rod.. anyone daft enuff to turn there actuator up to 40 psi is asking for failer without a full forged block... even then best to upgrade the turbo and run lower boost unles you got deep pockets. I see my pennys crack and split around 20psi on low boost. What this guy is doing is not a modified or tuner mod.. its a ricer mod going to end badly. I was simply advising to buy the real mcoy and keep the csr in better health 😂

Try to block the line. Its still possible that the valve is opening under load, so you could delete it completely

Your car is new. You only need to unplug a sensor near the turbo at the back and it will doit. I will make a video about that to soon as I get my new camera.

Hey man. Honestly don't listen to what people say about what you awan do. You wont be able to do it to a Celica as my friend has one and its literally impossible to turbo charge it. Honestly put the money towards a nice exhaust and make it pop and bang. That will be more fun.
Free flutter but this is not good for your turbo. Only a larger turbo can make a real flutter sound without damageing your turbo
True. But most of us don't have that money. This is something I don't recommend to do for a long time. If u want to go to a meet and make a bit of noise do it. But not keep it for to long.

Turbo cars don't build boost in park and also that's really bad for your car probably hitting boost cut and that's why it doesn't feel as fast
Turbo cars can absolutely build boost with no load on the engine (in park or neutral).

I belive that's the case in newer models but in the 1.8T 20V is measured with a pressure valve not electronically.
