My next comparison will be using the Sony HLG3 with the Leeming Lut and using DJI D-Log M with the DJI Lut. Will make minor adjustments and see how they look without using the standard color profiles. Anyways, thank you for checking out this video comparison!

If you're a vlogger, Pocket 3 just beats any camera and phone because of it's ease of use and it's light. Sony w/ gimbal will definitely make your arm tired.

Oh wow! How are you enjoying your OP3? You don't have any regrets with the ZV-E10?

@@TravelingAhn Just a little regret for the image quality and the bokeh lost, but the OP3 is not so far away, but mine was laying around, the pocket 3 I use it more because it's so small and easy to use, and it's so much more discret !!!

Hard to beat the ZV-E10's image when it is on a gimbal! But, it reminds me of that scene in Jim Carrey's Mask when he pulls out a bazillion huge cartoon guns on the thugs that were trying to mug him.

Yeah, the ZV-E10 certainly has its place! I finally purchased the Leeming Lut (You had mentioned it to me in the past). I'm going to have to pick your brain on how to setup the ZV-E10. I'm using HLG3, but you had mentioned you are using Cinetone 2? Anyways, we'll have to figure this out :P I actually never saw "The Mask" (hahaha).

@@TravelingAhn anytime. You have to overexpose it and manually white balance which is the hard part and also brings up the ISO. I've found with HLG in good light you can do +1.3 or 1.7 and the Leeming Lut will look good. For Cine2, you can do +1 or +1.3.

I see...i'll have to experiment for sure! I cannot find my grey card anywhere :P@@TimBrownTown

@@TravelingAhn a white piece of paper or fabric will work well. Read the PDF from leaming let to get a more detailed description then find what you should set your zebras for for your skin tone and then you can pre-walk the scene and watch your skin tone go up and down and then you can set your exposure accordingly. You may want to experiment in a place with consistent lighting first to see what works best for you. Before you go out and film in an area with a changing lighting environment with shadows and clouds etc

Thanks Tim, didn't know I could do that white fabric trick! Yeah, I'm still a camera noob so it will take some time :P

Have you done any white balance tests with the Pocket 3 ND filter you’re using? It appears to have a noticeable magenta shift?

    • @TravelingAhn

Hmmm, I just do the trick of setting Auto WB on the OP3 and then move it over to manual. I didn't do any WB correcting in post.

Awesome stuff man. Love how you're so courageous in public. As far as the comparison goes. I think the ZV-E10 looks much more professional and "cinematic", but at the price of convenience. The pocket 3 is a huge step forward for vloggers. I can't see why anyone would choose anything else unless they really really care about image quality above all else. Pretty much me lol.

I have had the DJI Osmo Pocket 2 for a while now and have loved it. Is it worth upgrading to the 3? I also live in Korea (pyeongtaek) and always curious to find any other gypos or 2nd gen koreans living here.......

Yeah, I owned the pocket 2 awhile back, but definitely believe the Pocket 3 is w worthy upgrade for sure! You live in the city where the USA army is based, are you in the army?

Hi Dennis, I'll check when I get back home. It's a variable ND.

Hi Dennis, i'm using a 55mm Jaba Variable ND 2-2000. Not sure if you can find it, I bought it in Korea. But it works good enough. I tried using a step up ring for my larger ND and it didn't seem to want to be as compatible so I bought one that would fit the 55mm f1.8
