Jazak Allahu khairn sis. As a homeschooler of 5 years this was a beautiful reminder and one I benefited from. Excellent tips , if I could just add that at the start sitting down and writing your reason for homeschooling, (your why ) in a journal or diary is helpful as I refer back to mine often to give me that reassurance.
Salam! New subscriber here! This video was wonderful and much needed. We started our homeschooling journey last year and it's been a hell of a ride, but I've never been more sure of a way of life. It's brought us so much closer and I wouldn't have it any other way.
for me HONESTLY the most difficult thing I have done was start off by sending my children to school!!! so much stress, always drama, exposure to the disliked, always being called by the school, feeling distressed being away from my little children, worry about which adult was in their company while out of my supervision.. yuck what a horrible time of my life!!!!
I agree with you, each child is different, some thrive in “regular” or traditional schools, some need smaller or more focused one on one schooling, and the most one on one type is homeschooling.
My husband and I agreed on homeschooling but couldn't agree on the approach. I held my ground on it as I was completely certain. It took a few years but he is thankful now. I think whoever is the main 'teacher' needs be be given time to show the results to the other parent.
Yes, I think 'too many cooks spoil the broth' and when you are both invested, it can create a lot of tension. Give each other the space, healthy boundaries and open communication inshaAllah !
New subscriber! I really resonated with this video. You have made it with ihsan (excellence)! May Allah bless you and your family and place tawfiq in your RUclips channel and growing business :)
Asalam o alikum, I am from Pakistan and I am homeschooling 3 kids. But for the eldest , she is 11 years old, I am on the verge of quiting. She won't listen to me, she is weak in maths and urdu but instead of doing more hardwork she keeps running away. I don't know how to handle her.
I wanna do homeschooling for my 3 kids but totally confused... Watched so many videos on youtube but stil have some fear... How I can teach my 3 kids at the same time... Cofusoin confusion confusion... Ufff
May Allah make things easy for you and help you find answers to all your questions! This isn't something I've covered yet on my RUclips channel but there are lots of other homeschool vloggers who address this question :)
Depending on your children's ages, you can teach some subjects together, like science, geography, and history. This helps reduce the time spent on teaching. Also, you do not have to cover every single subject every day. I have six kids from 10 years old to 1 year old; I have been homeschooling from the very beginning. It is very doable, you just have to be flexible and realistic.😀
I’m not a parent yet but in shaa Allah I plan on homeschooling 🤗 Thank you for this!
Same haha, not a parent yet but inshaAllah :) May Allah grant us goodness and ultimate success in our parenting endeavors

This is so true! I think it's easy to get swept away and forget the initial reasons you started out

Homeschool is also the challenge for parents 😅 it is really difficult, but until you will get habit to study at home 😊
