- Okay! Here we are with Part 2! Was just easier to split this up to make it a little easier to watch for some and not take away from good information.
So in this one we final it up by cleaning the bulbs and sockets, putting a little paint on the needles, clean the housing and polish up the clear lens. Then we test the bulbs with a jump pack to make sure they all work. Also show the difference in the aftermarket and OE style sockets and why, if you can, should stick to OE or OER parts for this.

Fantastic trucks! Daily drove one up until about 4 years ago. Took it off the road as it needed work.

I have the same cluster on my 1975 F-100 Custom. Decided I’m going to try and refurbish it myself. What size bulbs are in the cluster?
If memory serves me, I believe they are #194. I'll check in the shop, if different I'll post. Have fun with it and just take your time. This old plastic is brittle. Backplates are still available if you need one, since they seem to be what most commonly fails. Thanks for watching!

Can you be a little more specific as to which part you are looking for? Are you referring to the white part that's the back of the cluster that I replaced?
