It looks like might have to continue running without Max to build my budget. If the Ferrari upgrades look good, I will run a hybrid points/budget build with LEC - STR - HUL - ALB - ZHO - RED - FER. Given that this is good for budget building, I would use Limitless for Miami and score big points while still getting the budget increases of my normal team. But if the Red Bulls look dominant again, keeping PER - RED - FER, rolling a transfer and reassessing for China seems the way to go.

Miami is maybe an option for limitless, I’m inclined to potentially wait until Austria, but I’m going to cover both in my chip strategy video which I’ll finalize in the next week or two. Having three trades to attack China/Miami sprints I think are going to be most valuable

@@f1fantasyhub Austria is definitely on my radar too, but I'm keen to use Limitless in Miami, because it will be a bigger upgrade to my lineup. As always, I'll be on the lookout for your next video.

Can someone explain what “build budget” means?

    • @racing1000
      @racing1000 5 месяцев назад

@@EduardoAguilar-og4sc You know the cost cap for your team in the top left of the screen? You want to choose assets that will increase in value, and therefore when you remove all the assets the cost cap number will be higher.

Great video as always Rob. Someone needs to give @MaxAlive a medal for working this out!
I think scoring points always has to be the priority but understanding how values change can only help!

Appreciate the support! MaxAlive deserves a spot on the Mount Rushmore of F1 Fantasy. Yeah I don’t think I can see myself completely gutting my whole team just for assets that are going to go up in price. Red Bull is almost always going to be in my team

I'm so very tempted to go for the Max build right away... After last week I have budget of 105.5m, which would allow me to go Red Bull Racing, Ferrari - Max, Kevin, Nico (or Alex)... Problem is I'd be forced to slot in both Bottas and Sargeant, possibly locking me out from the slightly higher scoring drivers such as Yuki. One extra week with the correct budget team could make a big difference no doubt.
PS. I think you should increase your voice volume in your videos :)

I was going to go with Red Bull max leclerc/Sainz hulk haas saergent bottas (last two are a risk) but I think with max and Red Bull I can gain points and a degree of value after their dnf with Sainz or leclerc I’ll probably gain on cost cap aswell with haas hoping they can keep up their performance witn bottas it really depends on that pit stop and saergent I hope he doesn’t dnf but if I see that he is not performing well in the practice I go with Sainz instead of leclerc and put in a higher performing driver. Any thoughts ?

I think the strategy is well thought out, I just don't think the Haas constructor will consistently perform at this level all season. Hard to justify owning Sainz/Leclerc if you're not DRS Boosting them as imagine you will have Max in that slot. Ferrari and Magnussen sounds better than Haas and Leclerc don't you think?

@@f1fantasyhub yeah i agree I’ll probably go with a Red Bull Ferrari (as they bring the msot points each race, with max hulk magnussen bottas Sargent, but I’ll wait for the practice races, also I think this race might have a hefty amount of dnfs if it rains which it looks like it will, any thoughts on no negative or should I keep it for later races since I already used my limitless as didn’t know about sprints so my focus is to build a big gap as possible so that it doesn’t affect much

it's be interesting to calculate what our potential point loss on just the Japan weekend will be having a heavy Aston FER build vs a VER RBR FER build and then coming to as informed a decision as we can. Great episode as always Rob!

Agreed Mike - not sure I can bring myself to go with the triple FER, double AST and HAA. Hybrid of points and value seems to be my preferred approach right now!

Wait to use limitless and drs boost until after Silverstone. Clearly on sprint weekend, but when a Max, Perez, Charles, used to be Hamilton take a grid penalty to rack up overtakes, and gained positions. And if they get fastest lap and driver it’s nearly maxed points.

i got to the same conclusion for budget growth Aston, 3x FER, STR HUL & MAG. Thinking of running this for Japan and using limitless for China if that works the same as last year the price increase will be from the team of the week before which would maximize budget and points over the next 2 weekends.

Use limitless for Miami. China has less overtakes

    • @ArcherSterling112

@@rener.1978 i have a feeling China will be easier to predict top 4. McLaren got upgrades for Miami. All I hear is that China is unpredictable haven't raced there since......which makes me want to bet on Perez/Leclerc and possibly Max qualifying out of order and overtaking during the race. All 3 of those guys seem to need 2-3 practice sessions to pull out the most of their cars and they are easily the fastest cars on the grid at the moment.
