Another thing, boucing back from another comment about velcro (great idea!) It would be great when fixing a rivet or a press button, that both parts (front part and inside part) would be set in one click. Clearly if the wear somewhat functioning, that would be amazing : they would snap directly. Same goes for buttons, when applying a sewn on button, it would be great to see right behind, the cross stitch (as it is in real life) Of course, applying rivets and see it creates a real hole in the leather or fabric and see the back ring or the crush eyelet inside, would be super. I know this is a loads of work for details, but Clo3D is the best for that reason!! Keep up the good work

Great video. The buckle is so neat. Very clear step by step. Thank you so much. I have found issues making another type of buckle : Black plastic ones (triglide) with the ridges and all, issue being to lock it into place. :( I did not think about saving them as Avatar though. Trim doesn't work and cannot hold fabric.

Trim can hold fabric is you do not Glue into place and instead place and then add collision. Works very similar to adding as an Avatar.
For other types of buckles it is very similar. Start with the share and then add thickness. But if a piece has level of highs and lows you may need a more traditional hard modeling program like Blender instead

You will find if you animate the clothing that it will go through the belt buckle as collision doesn't work for trim due to a bug. Still waiting for that particular issue to be fixed with MD after almost 2 years.

We do recommend reaching out to MD about any issues you may have. They can then speak with their team

In case someone is watching who is using MD, I could not get it the buckle to thicken at 3:01. Toggle on "thick textured surface"

Did you make sure your fabric view was on Thick Texture Surface on and Texture surface in the 3D vertical toggle

Sorry I'm French, I wonder how I can simulate a "velcro fastener".
The problem is that I don't even know if "velcro fastener" is a good word or translation. (You know the quick attachments like on kids shoes)
Maybe that's why I can't find an example in the videos. Sorry if bad English

Hi There. We understand velcro fastener (great example choice with kids shoes). Currently there is no real way to fasten with velcro in CLO, Instead you would need to either tack or Sew the velcro pattern pieces together to achieve this. But we will pass on the request about velcro to our team
