Got to admit, it's a good looking car. Same as most new Peugeot's.
Peugeots have really come into their own of late. I must admit I always thought they were garbage and I'd never touch one. Bought a 308 2.0 Hdi and it's a fantastic car. Incredibly well built, clever, efficient, punchy and it's a competent handler. There's something about Peugeots.
The best suv in its class even the x1 , gla and q3 cant compete this beauty

Absolutely loving the fact you got out a measuring stick for the boot, this needs to be a thing for all car reviews. Saying how big a boot is in Litres isn't practical in the real world, I'm carrying stuff not using it as a water tank. The length of the boot with seats up/down, width at its skinniest point, and height at its smallest point is light years more practical to know. I usually have to go scouring the web to find this info when it should be part of the basic information given about cars. Some cars I was looking at while physically larger had smaller boot areas than my 2013 i30 which has a very large and practical boot. Keep it up, plus I've watched and enjoyed lots of your reviews over the years 👍

awesome video, first video i have found in english. would love to see more details about the reversing camera and the 360 camera's. Did they put better camera's as the older model the camera's resolution was not that great :(

Nice review. I have the 2017 3008 GT Line model which I love and ended up purchasing it after watching your video review. Still got another 2 years left to decided whether I then exchange or keep it but think I’m going to just keep it as not enough changes to warranty an upgrade.

I'm the totally opposite. We didn't order one today as planned after we seen the new front in person. It looks cheap a total turn off for us unfortunately :-(
To walk away from a dealer when you went in to order a new car is so disappointing

@@BiaMaith In the first few days I also thought that the older one was better, because new 3008 looks a bit like a budget 508 (they tried to make it look like new 508 but without changing whole car). But it is because we are used to the old one. Now, after some time, I still see that its not as good looking as new 508, but its much better than the previous 3008. Previous 3008 was more conventional, but it also aged quite fast. Previous shape of lights look a bit awkward and dated.

Hello Thomas! Again very good work here! I would like to ask about 2 missing points; 1. How are the upgraded safety pack systems in the reality? At a future video please focus also on those if you can. 2. What is the camera in the front grille? It is a dash camera line Citroen one, it is about the night vision or it helps for parking like the rear camera that most of the cars nowadays have? I couldn’t find such an info by searching in the internet.

One camera on the grill is for front parking and for maneuvering in parking lots, another camera (in deep hole) is for NIGHT VISION function.
The Black pack looks so good! My dad has the pre-facelift top of the line 3008GT and he‘s really tempted to get the new one when it’s his time again to get a new company car.

So Thomas, in you honest opinion which PHEV would you prefer: Ford Kuga og the new 3008? All things considered, which would you choose if you were offered one of them?
Does the 4WD work if the battery is not recharged, and the car is using petrol combustion only?
It is quite unusual for me but I think I prefer the old front to this new one on the 3008. The new front works very welll for the other models though. Great review as always.
Thanks for giving the consumption figures when the battery is depleted. That is always good to know but most reviewers ignore that and only talk about the hard to measure consumption when the battery is charged.
Peugeot hit it out the park with this one. Front end looks better than any SUV in the market right now.
I forgot to ask, has the infotainment and reversing camera/s been improved? Also what about seat massage and night vision in the car?

The car has Tomtom's 3d navigation available both on 12 & 10 inch display, would have been nice to have a look at that.
Has the instruments console been updated (ie bigger size) to match the 10” info console

@@denisbarboskin9164 it's a more minimalist design. This 3008 has too many design elements that makes the car look cluttered. e-208 is better designed. The proportions are way better. Or 5008 is a realy nice looking car

Nice video as always 👍 I had one question specifically with the plug in hybrid model. Is there a function where the battery is charged automatically when on combustion like the mild hybrid ones. I am thinking if there could be a scenario where we can avoid pluging in as much as possible.

Hi Thomas. You say that you never really know what the consumption will be, but why can’t you measure the consumption based on total tank plus electricity? And that will not give you 71,4km/l. So how is this measured then? Kr Thomas from Denmark

I have the 2019 Bronze 1.2 standard and it bloody nippy for its size and weight. One thing it's only happened twice in the last 6 months is the traction control was on as I come around the corner one night and it may of hit black ice as it detected it the car took control away from me 😮 I was shocked it freaked out the hazards light on and held the steering in a straight line. I did not understand what was going on? My other concern is if you set the car to close warning range and someone just pulls out Infront of you at the last minute will it (the car) take over and break etc ?? Am worried about this as I could cause a accident if the car takes control. Anybody had this experience done to them? Thk
Hi I have the tech spec document for this car looking at the GT and I cannot see the Black Pack option. Any one know of Black Pack is available in ireland? And how much is the black pack option?
They have taken the styling backwards at the front. From a distance it looks like there is a part missing. It looks like they forgot to add a grille.

After Peugeot 3008 has got the best car of 2017 title they decided that it was too much and made everything to not get this title any more.

I've driven the first edition and the icockpit felt a bit strange due to the line sight above the steering wheel. I wonder if there is some improvement besides the flat top of the steering wheel. I felt a bit uncomfortable too with the touch functions because it takes our attention a bit out of the driving to operate it. Besides that i think that is a very fun car to drive and has a nice look too.
I have a 2022 model - no problem with line of sight .I am almost 6ft tall and my wife is 5ft2''. The is plenty of adjustment forward/back and up/down for the seat and steering wheel.

A great looking car. It looks great and isn't pretending to be a coupe. The interior is very stylish. One or two places style goes too far over function, but, in all, it makes plenty of cars from so-called premium makes look distinctly boring or ugly. As one would expect from a French car, it rides well even on big wheels. More surprising is that the handling is pretty good. It'll definitely go on my short list.

I cannot understand this. I am 6ft tall, my wife is 5ft 2" No problems at all. I bought a 2022 3008GT Hdi (2L diesel) I had read the comments re the steering wheel so I was very careful to check that - no problems. I asked the salesman what the problem was. He said "the DRIVER". He said the most common problem was that people sat too close to the steering wheel which meant there was a difficulty in moving the steering wheel low enough. I do drive it with the steering wheel a fraction lower than in my older 308. Took me 30sec to get used to it.
This B mode, if use during ICE will the consumption be higher? Had a XC90 and it seems during ICE with B gear consumption is very high. Perhaps someone Pro can enlight me.
Maybe it does recuperate by engine then as well
Really like the vehicle but i will wait for the new Tucson, compare the 3008, RAV 4 and Tucson and then i will decide which car will be my next
I'm pretty surprised the Focal sound system doesn't sound impressive. As Focal make upmarket sound systems usually for Professionals. Good review though 👌
Throughly knowledgeable and informative review nicely shot as ever. Huge problem for a manufacturer how to improve on a winner and overall they’ve done a great job. Front end much improved. I could get used to the I cockpit but it wouldn’t be my first choice. My biggest gripe having test driven the car is the lack of feel something picked up by Thomas of course. Price is also becoming an issue.

My 2022 3008GT has electric drivers seat and heated front seat I bought a demo so I don't know if they are standard.
