We had this game and loved this, my uncle use to play the advanced one whlle drinking during the summer was pretty darn funny, him and my cousins would challenge each other to this drinking Schmidts..LOL...Great Times!
A typing game about a wizard in space? That was "MasterType" and it was pretty awesome! Not "Typing of the Dead" awesome, but you do get to shoot lightning at the alphabet, and that's not bad.

Not quit sure that lord carnage is too cool about you revealing the name of his secret lover. Now that the world knows that he has feelings outside of rage, hatred, and raw badassery, his image has been soiled. I suggest you either beg for you life, or move, fast. If I know him, he's probably sent a legion of cyborg ninjas to your house this very moment.
it seems to be a common theme with this game, i literally just picked up a copy and it looks like new, i just guess thats is a bad sign that overall kids only played it for 5 mins then never touched it again back in the day.

This game was part of the "Speak and Read" of learning toys that was released in 1980 and produced by Texas Instruments.
I use to have a little portable keyboard with a digital readout that had a game called word zap ... this made me think of that.
I think I remember this game on the Atari ripoff TV game console. Pretty good, even for an educational game. Like it!
