I remember playing this game when I was much younger and enjoying it. Enjoyed it so much that I preordered it after years later lol. The music sounds like a giant cat purring! Lol! This is one of the games on the 2600 that captured the weird side of 2600 imagination. But weird in a good way. :-) Great review.
I played this game as a kid at my Grandpa's house, and it was a fun escape while I was visiting. Then their house burned down (due to a water heater problem or something). Afterwards, 8 year old me went into the burned out house and found the pile of molten plastic and burnt circuits that was the Atari, and I salvaged this one single game, since it was my favorite and I didn't care about the rest. It had to rip off the melted case, and insert just the chip in order to play it. Well, I still have this game, in all of its glory, but I think I have stuck it into the case of another game to make it easier to play. But, I am not sure, as it is lost in some box somewhere, and I have not seen it in years. I think I need to go look for it now !
I got the cartridge from a local gamestore near me. It was originally going to be apart of an art project but never got around to it. So it was already in that condition when I got it. The holes in it are from me opening it to clean it to make sure it worked. Then I donated it to Mark instead. And sadly no im not the AVGN :P.
This was a weird game, I had this a long time ago. I always think about it now and then, it was a pretty unique shooter gameplay. Glad to see this review.
Steven Villman I think its infinite. I remember playing it at my cousins. I made so much score that it reseted itself during gameplay to zero (I am not shitting about this. This was my favorite Atari game!!).
Is it just me, or do those enemies from the beginning of the video look like Michael Jackson in his clothes from the video for 'Smooth Criminal'? They're even moonwalking!
Maybe its just me, but why review a game/games from the early 1980's??... I mean its not like people are gonna rush out and buy it after watching this......
This game looks like it was played in the Iraqi frontlines at the beginning of the gulf war, then made it to the Taliban front and was played in one of Osama's caves during that invasion. Sometimes its just better to rip the damn off! lol

What you need is a flamethrower!! When Mark liked to review video games! Thanks for the good years Mark!
How about Stun Runner? Do you have that? I think it was on the Amiga and Atari ST computers.
The ceilings looks a bit like BREAKOUT.
Whaddaya mean the music’s not terribly exciting? It’s quite catchy for something from the 80’s.
I love this game too. I love the Pegasus at the end
This is my favorite Atari game, the only I still play occasionally.
what happens if you run out of bricks? you loose?
great presentation, thanks ;-)

awsome looking game and good review.
And, for some reason, this game title reminds me of SVC Chaos... No joke!
The game is actually more interesting than I anticipated.
it is to see how these games were back then.. common on now, it is obvious that you won't go out and buy these old games after watching some video.
its Bolfar.... I found it on his Home review
The enemy shots get more accurate every time you shoot.
You need to go into video game development Mark! With as much experience as you have I know you would be great!
its not the xante version he said it its the imagic version which has a rarity of 4
I think he might mean his old co-presenter back from the old Classic Game Room..

@dougd1015 I really love Game Room. But no offense isnt that kinda sad?
This game is awesome, except for the fact that after playing this for a while, wavy moving lines were burned into my retinas.

ah the wonderful sounds of .5 MHz 8-bit
i can sleep in this game due to the music

Is it just me, or do those enemies from the beginning of the video look like Michael Jackson in his clothes from the video for 'Smooth Criminal'? They're even moonwalking!
