I bought mine a few months back to use as a 'travel guitar'. It's now the first guitar I pick up every day. It's actually anything but a silent guitar, it's actually quite loud and has superb resonance.
@@SARANGGOSAVI I've had mine for more than 5 years now and I think it sounds really good. I've used it directly into a mixer, into a Yamaha THR10c using the Aco(rustic) preset and also into a Hughes + Kettner Era1acoustic amp. I also used it one time into a DJ's mixer with everything set to flat on the mixer using just the EQ on the guitar. I think it sounds really good. If you're not getting a decent sound when plugged into a PA I would have thought that the PA can't be up to much. Just my thoughts on the matter. The guitar has so many possibilities to shape the sound. All you've got to do is experiment.
Sounds great with the modeling (of course). I suppose one could also easily plug the piezo sound into an IR box (e.g. Nux Optima Air, ToneDexter) if preferred, but I like the one built-in model used a lot. The only remaining question is this: How would the guitar sound when tuned down to C# standard tuning, i.e. 3 half-steps down? That‘s my go-to tuning, so I need the guitar to sound great that way, and also for the strings to not become too „loose“ (perhaps by replacing them with heavier-gauge strings).
My biggest question, that I cannot find an answer for on any review of this guitar, is this: When you hit the guitar with the butt of the palm of your strumming hand, will it make a bassey, percussive thump? When I strum a regular acoustic guitar, that is important to me, as it gives the audience a bit more of a sense of rhythm in my strumming.
Guitar sounds awesome ~! Right where his elbow rests, yamaha should make that a smooth curve contour so that your arm rest comfortably ! It seems like it would be an easy do. imho.
Is palm muting possible with this guitar? I do that almost all the time (usually no thumbpick). Wouldn't need to be perfect, I just would like to have a silent practice guitar (headphones) using the same hand position as on my regular steel string.
Yes it does as all palm muting is, is to damp the strings close to the bridge and therefore mute the sound depending on how much you damp the strings with your palm. You don't need a guitar body for palm muting to work.
i bought my lat week. Do u use any amp or processor to it ?? Somehow it doesn’t sound that good when connected directly to the Mixer for live shows, anyone here can help. i apriciate alot.
Can the neck be adjusted very low without string buzz? I have a psoriatic problem with my fingers causing pain if I have to push very hard on the strings...
It’s a Toy ! Not an instrument! It’s not true ! It’s a shitty guitar/toy , and money back ? Only 2 weeks ! So , 2 gigs and you cannot get your money back and it’s a coward guitar ! It freaks out on real set up live loud stages , sucks !! Even at the music shop they’ve told me “ buy a real instrument next time
Try telling Paul Rodgers (Free, Bad Company) that. He's been using one for years and his sounds good. And that is always on a professional stage. And one thing it doesn't do on loud stages is to feed back. How?? It's not got a resonance body to enhance the chance of feedback. And it's definitely NOT a toy. Maybe your music shop just wanted to make more money out of you by selling you a much more expensive instrument. Either that or they might possibly have absolutely no idea about guitars. Just my thoughts on the subject as someone who has several really good electro-acoustic guitars e.g. Taylor, Godin (to name just a couple) but also someone who also uses a silent guitar live and at home.

That modelled sound is really impressive, wow!
Sounds nice plugged in.

What gauge strings are on this?

Can you be more specific, since some profound guitarists are playing this guitar live :)
Também achei a captação muito ruim. Som de lata.
