Wow, the estate is very densely populated, hopefully the government will get those streets renovated and also provide basic needs like water and electricity.
I once lived there for like 8 years Amazon area bedsitter was paying 7500 the building had a borehole so water was 24-7 and it was so safe walking anytime of the day its not as bad as people think na mtu haskiangi kuhama walai
The owners of these highrise apartments live in places like runda, Lavington green and or Karen. The rents are collected for them by some discreet and crude behaved estate agents who care least about the comfotability of the tenants who occupy those houses!!!
Most all landlords all over the world live in better places- come on! That said, they should improve on the water and electricity supply- maybe solar panels would help plus generators and boreholes
Wooow! It is a match better place than when I leaves their in 2013, except the dark stairs. Those roads used to turn into shambas when it rained. Overall it was a nice place with a 247 economy and no insecurity. A lot of hot kamba women.
The county government has failed miserably when it comes to garbage collection, despite collecting taxes from city residents. Time, they stopped centralizing operations from the city hall since the city has been growing for decades, created different JURISDICTIONS for northern, southern, eastern, western and central business districts for issues related to fire station, garbage collection, enforcement of city bylaws. This way, we are able to see PERFORMING and NON PERFORMING jurisdictions. To eliminate Unplanned structures like the slums, county government should start building low cost AFFORDABLE housing and collect revenue from the cheap rents and paying taxes, thus eliminating unscrupulous individuals building slums and depriving the county government it's revenue.

So black people living in developed countries lack sunlight too? Most live in even higher buildings. Elevators make sense only if you have reliable 24/7 electricity which Kenya 🇰🇪 and most of Africa doesn’t have.

This question cannot be answered.. Fore extinguisher ain’t even a requirement in a residential area and when you apply for one you pay for a different license. So they opt not to have. Yes you politicians , look after your people. Make all areas of Nairobi pleasant for your citizens. Children need playgrounds, schools etc.
Hey, I’m watching from Detroit, Michigan. Love the content!!

You should try and do this video either in the evening around 5pm or on sunday, you won't need to give the statistics......especially neer tumaini area is impassable even by pedestrians......kumejaa excess.
Horrifying 😢
The government should not just approve anything. This is a total mess
Lived hear for five years. Good place to start life. Problem is usihame usiku na uamkie kwenda kazi asubuhi kama wewe ni mgeni, utashindwa kurudi kwako
What about in terms of bisness iwish to start tissue pads and diaper and crocs bisness there can it work
I guess we can become desensitized to most conditions but I can't imagine myself residing in such an overcrowded environment.
Oh wow so much privilege 😮
wow, thank you for showing us this. I wish I could see this with my own eyes, it looks pretty and interesting. But I wouldn't want to live there, it's so loud and I am so noise sensitive. I watch from Finland, live there since a few years, but originally I'm from Austria (middle Europe). What is this what you are eating at 4:25?
Thanks Dolphin for this content now are this building structure strong?do they have fire ,EMT and Police Stations..etc we need to avoid a tragedy from happening with proper planning for congested living.
Kariuki8 are you joking? Does Nairobi CBD even have proper fire equipment and you ask if Pipeline has these services? They don't even have public schools. The blame for this mess surely lies on the people that approve these buildings.
@@Lulu-po3kn Unfortunately because of poor planning and our culture of corruption, Nairobi like Kenya will continue to suffer from lack of amenities like enough Schools, Health clinics ,reliable quality water and sewer system. One day i hope Kenya will became disciplined Nation and we can all have good quality of life.
This question cannot be answered.. Fore extinguisher ain’t even a requirement in a residential area and when you apply for one you pay for a different license. So they opt not to have. The population is so high meaning the rent is considerably lower. Most of these properties have loan obligations making tenants give bare minimum. Water and drainage is a catastrophe
Thanks for always tagging us along
From Ethiopia, I enjoyed it
Thank you
Very good video.
