This fight took me more than 2 hours to win. I had to change my strategy and fight the sisters first, as they were the ones that kept killing me with their ranged attacks. Once they were killed, Svipdagr was a walk in the park.
Yeah I tried that and for some reason I couldn't pull it off so I would get the Berserker out of the way first. Either way works though 👍
SAME here. Once I got those irritating ass sisters out of the way I SMASHED him with ease. The other way around was a headache.

This and the poison berserker are the worst bosses in this game for me especially if you play on harder modes. Simply an awful bossfight design.

Thanks. Your suggestion to keep everyone centered helped. This was especially true when it was just the sisters left. I barely got out alive but did. That last sprint to the remaining sister was scary. Had she snapped out of it, I would have not survived. Somehow she was all the way on the other side of the arena.

Thank you so much, been struggling with this for an hour and after watching your guide I finally beat the sisters after 3 more tries. I'd say something people overlook is timing those parries. It is not an easy task but practice makes perfect.

A boss shouldn't make me feel like I'm learning a the play for a footbal match, its just mean the developers don't know how to design a good boss fight. But great video thanks for making it very detailed.

Agree. One of the flaws for this game are the bosses. Some bosses are the same as others just with another element. Trolls, Drekis, Dragons, etc. They even made normal enemies bosses. Wulvers, Graugrs, Einherjar Captains, etc.

I used the rage armor that builds rage when you're hit. If you get a fatal hit, you lose rage. There's always that one gauntlet boss that makes the game hard as shit. After I beat this in 2 days, on GMGOW, no other Beserker has been a challenge. I haven't fought the king yet. I just wanted to see how others overcame this fight. Great tutorial. we used the same strategy, just not the armor, etc.

Stuck on this one but I’ll try some of these tactics tonight. Will report back…. At first I felt I should focus on sisters bc they share health but I was performing better when I only focused on the berserker first. I couldn’t decide so thanks for validating. I am under leveled so about 2 mistakes is all I get! Gotten close but always get hit with some bs.
I did the exact same thing you did. I tried for so many times trying to take out the sisters first. I started seeing progress when I switched it up. Remember, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results 👍

Focused only on berserker
Got a resurrection stone
After a bunch of times getting him down to 1-2 health blocks I was able to get the berserker down. I panicked and choked on the sisters for two tries but then got it done on the third. I still feel that trying a bunch of times will eventually put RNG on your side a bit. There were times I was hit with absolute bullshit. Like being trapped between dodging a jump and dodging in to some magic bs.
One time I had the sisters to a sliver of health and I started breath of thamur to finish but it didn’t stun lock her so she walked through it and punched me dead. I was upset.
Anyway, thanks for the video. The feeling of accomplishment I got reminded me of gmgow sigrun (although not as high of a high). After not playing games for a long time (I’m a dad) I remembered why we do it.
This took me like 8 hours playing on hard! I used the armour that gives you timeshift and the dauntless shield, I was still so weak I could only take 2 hits but that opening timeshift gives you lets you reposition yourself. Still you need a bit of luck to win this one.

On the hard difficulty, there's a substantial amount of luck. It's kinda absurd.

You're welcome, John! I tried taking on the Sisters First but for some reason it just didn't work for me - it has for others. Once I stuck to my strategy I ended up winning which led me to posting the Berserker Guides.

Finally did this on gmgow with the “vampire build” if you’re struggling I highly recommend this build. Basically it’s super tanky with high health and enormous hp regeneration, the more enemies there are, the higher potential you have for health regeneration so it’s good for this fight.

@@oxfordking there’s a video that can do it better justice than I can, but I’ll try.
Basically you use the the steinbjorn plackart for the chest piece, after significant damage is taken for 5 seconds your hits heal you. Healing is based off the number of hits not the damage done. So the more hits you do = more healing. Because of this, you save your runic attacks for when you get hit and the ability activates. Once it does, light runic attacks such as wrath of the frost ancient, thrust of a thousand soldiers and rampage of the furies will heal you quite a bit.
If you’re facing multiple enemies, then your heavy runic attacks that cover a large area will heal even more, such as breath of thamur, vindsvalrs windstorm, and meteoric slam. In addition to this, surturs arms and waist give you a 40% damage reduction. Your defense will be over 500, and with the right pommels and runics, your health will be over 200 vitality (320+ health).
Your relic will be the hilt of tyrfing, which while you use it slows things down so you aren’t just standing there open for an attack, and will drain your health but do great damage in a decent area of effect around you. If you charge this, it’ll proc the healing for 5 seconds like I mentioned so you can use this and then use your runic attacks and you don’t have to rely on getting hit by an enemy to proc the healing. Most of the time, provided you save your runic attacks, you can heal well above the damage done. This relic has a 30 second cool down too so it’s really great.
The amulet is something like nifilheim set for melee damage while above 75% health based on our 500 defense. Then Svartalfheim set for stun damage based on defense. You can try replacing one of these sets for the jotunheim set which will give you a huge boost of rage based on your health. I did this for the trio fight and the extra rage to cleanse any status plus more health helped a lot.
And then crest of desperate heroics which gives you invincible barrier when your health drops into red, a heal burst and strength buff. Greater regen essence for passive healing. And the last slot is for boon of valor which will be the rage we use, which is good for healing but I find myself switching the rage used (and the respective boons) depending on the fight.
TL/DR: You can search “gowr vampire build” on RUclips and there’s better detailed info on everything used, why it’s used and how to effectively use it. It’s carried me through my entire mid to endgame gmgow playthrough.

Man I remember beating them on give me a challenge for the first time and I struggled even on that difficulty. I actually beat the game on no mercy recently and man I got my butt kicked a lot because of mistakes and not taking my time. I'm working on give me god of war difficulty.
Yeah go for that GMGOW Difficulty - you may be surprised at just how good you really are at the game. Very rewarding experience imo.

I would like to add this info, if the sisters fall down they will never stand up again they will be down till you hit R3 and finish them.
The sisters has no stun bar unlike the big berserker ( the Cold) so once they are down they never stand up again same as Gna the Queen though Gna has a stun bar under her health bar, yet once she is down she will never stand up.

Your video was by far the most educational I've seen yet. All the other videos I've seen was "see, see, see,look, look, look, no instruction, no explanation. I hate that!
Nevertheless, I tried it your way and I had The Cold on the ropes, roughly about two or three hits from being done. Until one of the sisters hits me with one of those unblockable energy balls, dead on the spot. So I changed it up. I went after the inactive sister, with a stick and move tactic. Basically getting a couple of hits on one of the inactive sisters, while dodging The Cold's attacks from behind. Difficult, yes but if you have the steinborn armor active, it's very doable. Also, thank you for using the guardian shield. I like using the dauntless shield, but the guardian shield has an instant return attack That interrupts everything. Including red ring attacks once you parry.
Wow thanks so much for the huge compliment! Not often do I come across nice comments so this was a nice surprise! I used to use the Dauntless and one random stream we decided to switch it up - Guardian fit my playstyle better than I thought so I stuck with it.
And yes, I noticed quite a few creators who get 100x more views than me do not explain these fights well at all - so I decided to start doing guides but only if I can speak to it well enough. There are sometimes where I would just delete the attempt as it wasn't me.

I'm at lv4 normal difficulty but they appear to me with the red life bar and a skull so I die from one hit or two, even so I'm very close to killing them, I consider this fight stupid due to the fact that the camera and the game itself don't It's made for a triple boss, thanks to your tips and strategy now I have a clearer idea to prevent enemies from disappearing and killing me from a blind spot, with these guys I decided to use armor that stops time is easier, I think that I do decent damage since I improve the attack skills to gold, greetings and excellent day!

Took me about 8 hours to beat them, was low level and didnt use the parry shield. found rift the best.
What really keeps bothering me in this are the sisters and the red leap the beserker and the runic animation lock it really screws me over

@@oxfordking I'm LVL 8 now tried using different armors and lvling them up+all my weapons. One mistake is a complete catastrophe in this fight. Gotten close now and then but just seems to be a real slog whichever one you choose to focus on.
Got past them finally! Managed to get the sisters out of the way first luckily and the rest of the fight was easy.

They kicked my butt no bs but I used the stone wall shield for this fight though and the realm shift outfit for most of the beserkers it helped me out mostly with the king

This was impossible on give me God of war mode. Actually impossible it took me 3 days. This was the last thing I needed to do to 100% the game
A thing I don't like about this game is that long animation runic attacks are useless. Their animatios are cool but enemies still can hit through them and you can't do anything.
I agree - I almost never use them anymore - I just go hand to hand OR one weapon. Keep it simple.
Turn Aim Assist and Auto Lock off. After this fight I became a better at combat lol. Playing on GMGOW
I tried that one time and hated it and then I went back and hated that too. The camera just sucks no matter what.

been on this fight for a few days now and its the most infurating boss fight ive ever played in any video game. i was expecting the sisters to be easy right after i killed the main guy and right after i did, they start going bat shit crazy. i got them to barely any hp left then they both start spamming their magic attacks. worst boss fight ive ever played, don't know why the devs thought this was a good idea

One thing i gonna ask you bro, what setting do you use for game play? I mean, everytime im battle this trio, my camera out of frame and its focus on the berserker, sometime my camera out of focus when fire ball or ice track me
I honestly don't remember. It's been a long time since I've played GoW. I think I left everything on default.

This boss fight alone makes me want to put this game away forever and never look back. This fight is just purely unfun. Every attack auto homes AND is unblockable? Whoever designed this fight can kindly keep their ideas and hands off of every game in the near future.

Try Lunda chest Piece and Dragon Gauntlet + Waist - can be doable at 5 but 6+ is recommended

Try to remember what went wrong prior - change it up. Maybe stick to just one weapon and only that weapon. Keep it simple. Weapon swapping can cause issues for some.
