Jeff i is an enigma if you look at this guy walking down the road you can probably think he's a teacher maybe a social studies teacher science teacher that also is the cross country coach. Just by his demeanor and being so laid-back kind of quiet you would never ever ever ever ever think he's in the heaviest underground metal bands on the planet that actually won a heavy metal album of the Year Grammy Jethro Tull. Thank God you're so tell didn't make a record that year. And then I heard the story of Matt having anxiety and having a drink before he started his vocals for the new record. Never mind the fact that where they recorded it was in Salem Massachusetts where there's a bar on every f****** corner is halloweentown year-round. Does little red vampires walking around all the time they'll just smile and their things will hang out. And it's Massachusetts. I mean anything east of 128 is Irish and Italian and we're all a bunch of alcoholic assholes. So it must have been a trigger from the start. And then coming back to record your vocals😅 and having Jeff there being disappointed in you because you started drinking again I've never met him personally but the aura and the vibe that Jeff gives off is just like so nice and kind almost like your grandmother or your mother and if you disappoint her all she has to do is just like turn your eyes away and look at the ground and crush you in a minute. Anyways Matt. Jeff. Kodi. The bracket was sick if you come back to the east coast do not go to Middle East come down to soundtrack studios Pembroke Massachusetts take good care of you. Plus hook you up with some of that sweet South Shore homegrown best in the world we're coming up. Massachusetts is going to eclipse California because we have MIT motherfukers on that s*** now.

First of all . Cometh the storm was a sick f****** album. And they came out with a couple videos. For underground metal who the f*** does that. High on fire does. Saw one of their first East Coast Rock shows. Middle East Boston or Cambridge. Man they were f****** fire and they brought the storm everybody was going f****** ape shitt place was packed. Jeff's new double neck bass f****** beautiful. I brought a friend that had never heard them before but was a huge tool fan. I said one of the best underground metal bands is coming I'll buy the tickets you drive us we have 20 miles south of Boston. He was so f****** blown away he was like Garrett any music you want me to listen to send it to me I need to hear this s***. And then he runs into a friend of his daddy does subcontract worth from. He said what the f*** are you doing here he goes a friend of mine said I had to listen to this band he looks at me and says my friend looked at me straight in the eye and said this is the best metal bands ever see live. And he looked at me and he said😅 he looked at me and said he was absolutely right these guys f****** rock I was so f****** blown off my ass.

In Pembroke Massachusetts😅 he said if you guys can fill the Middle East you can fill this place way bigger way better place way better sound system way better everything 18 mi south of Boston I love to get you guys to play this place right off the highway. Hotels with way cheaper too. Everything's better on the South Shore of Massachusetts.
Are they talking about the drummer from Big Business? That dude is so fuckin good........ I saw them at a Crucial Fest show in Salt Lake City when they were touring their "Battlefields Forever" album and the way their set ended was godly. Ive seen few drummers at that level.
Yes. I saw big business open for high on fire and was blown away, the only other band that’s comparable to high on fire imo
