Steve Harris (Iron Maiden/ British Lion) - Part 2
Greg is a great keyboardist and a cult person because of his COF years
Sarah is awesome and glad to hear her defend Dani
Yess
Necroticism is dark yet playful. It’s gross and gothic. Carcass were reaching (like he admits) and it reminds me of other transitional albums like Hell Awaits and Ride the Lightning. Somewhere between garage and studio. To me they are perfection.
100% yes
If i was on tour with emperor or Ihsahn... I would be like hey bros do curls while your carrying your gear two birds one stone kinda deal then wede all laugh after i make an ass of myself then ask if they want some help .
All I ask here my lyrics
Please
I don't want to be. A singer But. I wrote a bunch of songs help me sell them
Yes!
If the very special band member you're honoring is Jon Kennedy, then yes, I'll buy that merch.
I want to honour Jon in someway, but it won’t be through this merchandise. I was actually talking to him about coming to the show before he passed away. God bless him.
@@ScarsandGuitarspodcast That's OK, I'm honoring Jon by buying a test press LP of "The Slaughter of Innocence, A Requiem for the Mighty".
"I don't need a gun, I've got a Donk."
Killer interview, can't wait to hear his new stuff.
All I want to do is SELL ! some songs. Dana is the only one I would trust with this task
Nicholas is the legend...In what year was this interview done?
"For person with no forgiveness in heart, living worse punishment than death" - Mr. Miyagi.
Good for the mind and body! Even all that sweat. Glad your well
You're my favorite Metal Australian, Andrew. Your shows are great
Well said brother ❤️
Wise advise! Bush therapy is a must! Onya Cobber 🍻
Thanks for the update, Andrew. Your dedication to unfolding the tales surrounding the "Dusk" and "Crueltry" eras are truly appreciated. As much as I would like to hear Gian's and Robin's memories and perspectives, I also have much respect for their privacy.
Actually I think the longest tenured member next to Dani is Martin Skaroupka (I don’t know how old this video is though)
But. U did interview him. Am i missing something?
@@lordsorceron Yes, but it’s a lightweight album and tour interview from 2017, well before the more detailed 'Chronicles of Filth' conversations.
Wow its good to see Sarah after all this years, first time hear you on Vempire,in 1995,high school, great memories, amazing singer and artist🤘!Like your british accent💪, wish you all the best Sarah🍻👍🤘
24:24 this is the golden ticket. Dude's happy driving trucks and making the music that he wants when he wants because he feels it, without worrying about pleasing an industry, which sounds like it would be a terrible way to get easily burnt out on making music.
Great interview, thanks for posting mate!!!!!
Love paul
Maiden guys, so not up there own arses I love you guys Up the irons🤟🤟❤️❤️
I don't see David as an originator.. in Terrorizer the songs were written by Oscar Garcia and the rest of the band ,David was brought in to record due to arrest made to the bass player... long story and Morbid A was stablished years prior to him joining the band .
Gutted. Thanks for trying. Any news on Robin ?
@@samharvey3241 nope. He’s not even in touch with Sarah.
What about Les? Any news there?
An incredible player and composer. I cannot understand how someone so awesome would ever choose to end his life.
That's too bad, but oh well. Im looking forward to your other shows
Real real real! hope he changes his mind just like sarah did🤞🙏
Bummer. Thanks for trying. Would have liked to hear from him.
Thank you so much for organizing this interview with Sarah. The COF albums with her are masterpieces, and I miss her voice in that band dearly.
What's that operator lady that said something for? Is someone in jail? Lol😊
Listening to this guy, Dana,. He's inspirational, love his interviews, from an 80s kid, thank you.
There is no more down-to-earth great dude in metal then Kiske. The last Helloween album is maybe their best, and I caught them in Vegas awhile back & it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Great interview!
Awesome interview! It was really fantastic to hear so many inspirational things about MA and Trey. Big thanks to you and Janelle!
This dude literally was the main influence of my drumming when I was young. He drove both COF and DB. Their best albums all had him behind the kit. He just had a unique style
Just watching this now. It’s so obvious there has been a serious disagreement between some of the former and current members of IF. I respect their right to keep it under wraps, but at this point, I think it is not just about Jeppe’s addictions but also maybe Anders’ seemingly strong desire to change the sound after Clayman.
I've actually listened to Manson before I discovered metal, looking for some aggressive music. Dude, you make artists so generous with their answers, it's insane! You are a very gifted podcaster.
Hugh is The Stranglers
talk show was such a great album, i just think it didnt hit was because of the names (specifically Scott's). I do feel talk show could've went a little more "modern"? or more rock and not so much like soft-ish if that makes sense. I just wish they gave it a chance and made a second album because i really love Dave's voice and it fits well with Stp's sound
Great conversation! As Fredrik said, The Last Will and Testament is really an action packed album. I think it's the most condensed and cohesive album that Opeth put out since Ghost Reveries. Solid record, from start to finish! I hope Opeth releases a few more concept albums in the near future. Again, thanks for the interview! All the best! 🔥🤘
I agree about the impact Nick Barker had with the early Cradle of Filth Albums. They are the most important albums of what the band were. I feel they have done some great albums after as well but I have a certain feel about the first 4 releases because Dusk In Her Embrace was the album that got me into Cradle Of Filth 1996 and when I first heard them. There was a natural Organic Chemistry full on that was there back then that hasn't been quite the same since. Great Interview!!
Never take anyone seriously that wears sunglasses indoors
I have an angtoria tattoo. I think I was talking to Sarah on fb like 15 yrs ago. Showed her , got no response so I guess she didn't like it. Lol. I'm probably the only person in the world with an angtoria tattoo. Yes I was drinking when I did the tattoo it's not perfect, but I love that album.
I love Sarah, I have always loved her. From the early days when I started getting into extreme music. As a woman, a lot of what she says resonates with me. Even when we are all nostalgic of the 90's scene, it is true it was a much more sexist, male dominated scenario. I admire her so much, and words cannot express how happy I am that she is back, she has been missed by a lot of us. Now a lot of us are parents, have jobs, bills responsibilities, elderly relatives we have to take care of... and yet we are still listening to metal and keeping truw to ourselves 🤘
Is Demonaz's goal just to make studio albums? Is he thinking of doing a Tour sometime soon ? Dated January 2, 2025, USA.
