Enjoyed your description of STL neighborhoods! I was born in U City, raised in Creve Coeur/Chesterfield, went to Fernwood Elementary, Parkway Central and Webster University, rented apartments in Lafayette Square, Kirkwood and Maryland Heights. I moved to Chicago in 1978 so a lot has changed. You might be interested to know my parents bought their 2400SF, 5BR home in 1963 for $28K and sold it in 1989 for $145K. Everyone thought they were crazy to buy in a corn field and said there will never be anything west of 270.

I moved to Webster Groves 3 yrs ago and I agree with you-beautiful, walkable, easy access to anywhere in the city or county, and it’s very safe ❤

Dude. It took you almost 5 minutes to get to the first top pick. Please, consider shortening your intro and stop repeating yourself. I share this with all due respect as a kind word of advice.

The title of this video should be “Top 10 cities in St. Louis Metro”. Saying 10 neighborhoods of St. Louis implies that the neighborhoods would actually be in the city of St. Louis

What about north county? North west county?

If you live in Richmond Heights your kids will not go to Clayton schools....

Great video but these aren't in St Louis, these are suburbs.

Yeah this is a disappointment. That being said I would consider kirkwood/Webster/Clayton/Richmond heights as being in STL even though they aren’t technically in stl. I grew up in this general area and I identified far more with the city than with the county

honestly I'd agree with you, and I'd include University City tbh. Culturally they are STL through and through.

@@danielhumphrey3836as someone who grew up in Kirkwood and currently lives in the city, the dynamic and culture of the two are quite different

Buying a house in Maryland Heights was easy, selling it turned into a NIGHTMARE for my family. The city went after us for "code violations" that had existed in the house for probably decades and were ignored when the previous sold the house. Stay away from Maryland Heights.

Why would anybody be interested in moving to St. Louis? It’s a very crime ridden city.

The places listed are in St. Louis county (Clayton, Maryland Heights, Creve Coeur, etc) not the city. Quite different places.
