  • This is a follow-on video for my previous Glute exercises video to give you advanced strengthening for a single side. These 4 exercises focus on Gluteus Maximus, which does hip external rotation and extension. These are especially helpful for people who don’t have gym machines, who want to work out at home as well as when they have weakness on one side more than the other. This is pretty common when you’ve had one sided back pain, hip injuries or knee pain where using conventional strength exercises for two legs at a time doesn’t address a single side deficits. So I have got four great exercises that you can do to advance your current single Glute strengthening.
    1️⃣ Banded Clams with Elevated Heels
    2️⃣ Hip Extension in 4 Point (Band)
    3️⃣ Single Leg Hip Thrust
    4️⃣ Step Down into a Lunge

    Dear Tim- Your brilliant videos have been widely circulated among the public gardening community in NYC these past few months (since I've switched careers to become a gardener). Many professional gardeners (and bakers and others who work with there hands) have a difficult time finding guidance on their particular situation -- which is occupational stress. Lifting. Bending. Most of the extant content refers to "sitting by a computer" or "returning to sport" as the two steady-state modes.
    I think if you need a video or series that was created for those who are required to say, bend over and lift and carry heavy things all day. The people need flexibility, mobility, strengthening, and revovery guidance as they are likely in pain all the time and can't take time off of work.

    Nice vid :) step ups and lateral step ups alongside side lying hip abductions are good for all the flute muscles too!

    Hello, if single leg hip thrusts are too hard, can I start doing them in a b stance?

    Please tell me are those exercises safe for coxarthrosis and strong pain in front hip?
