You’ve probably received a ton of emails like this, but this was “‘the best video ever” on how to incorporate the 5500 with my iPhone, specifically using the StrelocPro app (which is my favorite!). Thank you so much taking the time to record your experience connecting the 5500, the iPhone and the StrelocPro!
Instead of using a smartphone to hold and show data, can this also be loaded and installed/used with a tablet that has a bigger screen and, possibly, more memory and speed the data can be streamed into and saved? I can see the value of using on a smartphone in the field to keep down the weight but in a benchrest environment or where weight is of no concern, if like a bit more computing speed and screen size to better see the information. And then, IF it can be used with either a tablet or phone, will switching between either/or cause a Kestrel confusion issue, if you know? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
I just got the highest end kestrel they make and it came in a cardboard box with a battery and a little drawstring bag...... why did yours come with the wind vane and all the others goodies!?

because when you order it, there is an option to order it with the additional components (+90$ or something like that).
Does it have wind gust measurement in it
How did you rename your kestrel? I have the 5700 elite
Bubble level on the tripod head. Get a ball head and clamp.
