Mike here again...snooped around came across your vid with complete explanation of your machine.Im impressed,I have a friend who is a toro dealer. Thanks again.
Have to say your videos are great. We get to see what this machine can handle and what the manufacturers need to critique!! It looks like from the videos that the plow needs to angle more so the snow can roll off the plow better. The plow tends to fill up and roll off the side that isn't angled. Which is fine for plowing short distances but for long pushes it needs more roll off. Maybe the plow should be 2 inches taller would help making the snow roll more. It would be cool if they offered wings for this plow. I only say these thing because they can make this really cool machine into a awesome one. This thing is far better then a ATV with a plow! Thanks for the video's.
Agreed on the angle of the blade. There is defiantly enough clearance to make it possible. Also having the edges flared would help get it up and over better.
Hopefully Toro and Boss Plows watch your videos and run with it to improve this combo! Your videos really show how this performs in different scenarios . Keep doing the vodeos!
I used your videos as a information base as to whether or not to add the toro multi w/boss to our winter operations. We are in the Milwaukee area just east of Madison as I’m sure you’re aware. We just had our first measurable snow of the 2020 season. 6-8 inches of wet and heavy snow. This is our 20th winter in winter services and personally I can say that I know a boat load about snowfall and clearing snow. I added the toro this past November and used it yesterday and we will be using it again tomorrow with snow in the forecast. I was skeptical about its performance in this 6-8 inch wet heavy snow type of scenario. It performed well. The 5’ blade was great and fit on all sidewalks, all driveways, tight areas to relieve plows of back and forth. Yes 4 wheel drive would have been more efficient but not necessary by any means. The machine is very fast and that was one of the selling points for me over the Boss machine. It really moved the snow well. I weigh 210 and the wheels did spin a bit here and there mostly on compacted and slippery areas if at all. I’ll likely buy and install the wheel weight kit ASAP just to know the difference. All in all, I’m satisfied and can see the many years of time saving winter work the toro will provide to us. Thanks, I appreciate your uploads on the multiforce.
Thanks for the feedback, I was just like you when I made the purchase. I experienced the same minor issues, but the benefits outweigh those by far. The weight kit will help give you the boost your looking for. Hope you have a great season, enjoy the time savings brotha.
That thing may not be that wide, but its fast and turns quick. I feel like i might take one of those over a truck for those driveways youre doing. Looks like youre having a blast on there too haha
I got roped into doing some sidewalks and driveways for some elderly people. I been using a snow blower. Works well but not as fast. Most of the driveways are big enough for 4 to 6 cars. Would this be a good investment? I'm in WI. We don't get the too many deeper snowfalls like we used to. Thanks
I went from using a Toolcat for walks to this... I agree that obviously you wouldn't plow these drives with the Multiforce, however I had breakdowns this storm leaving me to pick up the slack... Additionally, one of the homes in this complex has pavers. This is why I even consider bringing the Multiforce to these accounts, plowing the circle driveways for the truck is a bonus. Going back to the Toolcat, this thing runs circles around it, with less damage in the spring.
no he just SUCKS at plowing snow. if he would just slow down a little and use his head, he wouldn't have to plow the same path 3 or 4 times over like he did in this video
mrbubetube it does help to take the 3-5 minutes to plan out how you’re going to do a driveway in your head. After about 50 driveways it only takes 5 seconds.
Needs a Padded seat Pedastal like the ole Farming days ; heated off the 12v system of course 🤓Noice 👍 Looks Gr8t 🤓🖖✌ They make 12v heated Pads ya can wire in to keep ur feet warm w too ; my dogs would be like Smh when done .
Good job first time for me on your siteI. I’m upstate n.y. And quite used to snow removal stuff. How about a shot of your machine? Couldn’t figure out what it is. Looks like your standing up from your shadow. It’s quick whatever it is. I like and will be watching.
Those things have came along way since a few years ago I used on helping a buddie doing sidewalks at a big apartment complex there was 6in of powder snow the one I had to me the machine was a dam gimmick. What ever brand you were using was working good the one I had theres no way in hell it would be plowing what your doing.
TPS madison. Love the vids. I recently purchased a mutliforce with 52" deck and the boss blade. Also winter tire that we put tubes in and filled with calcium chloride for weight. Weve used it mulitiple times and have gotten water in the oil causing the engine to run like crap. Dropped it off immediately to my dealer who discovered the water in oil. They are looking to talk to kohler to find a possible reason for this. I am wondering if you or anyone you know has experienced anything similar? I have spent time online trying to find a possible cause.
Yes, had the same issue early on.... Also had starter issues, electrical shorts, blah blah blah... I've been told that the newer models have "weather proof" connectors...
We finished the winter with no problems. Have been cutting grass with it since may. Only use it 1 day a week otherwise using 21"s and its been running fine. Still dont know why that happened last winter.
Hi, great video for this machine, it looks very useful. I haven't grown the business enough to choose between plows and snowblowers, and I had a question about the business end of this... Do you have disclaimers for your contracts regarding grass damage, or do you fix any plow-related damage in the spring? I don't see you doing any obvious damage, but I do see you're piling it onto the lawn, so I am curious what your arrangement is.
When you're plowing in a circle try having your plow High fangled another words not angled all the way bring it a little bit farther halfway back or so and you'll see when you're going in that Circle your snow will get thrown much farther away there for making it easy for you to plow trust me try it I guarantee you it works
@@jimsteele7108 I just don't think the transmissions are made for that kind of abuse.... If it was a regular lawn tractor than sure but plowing snow your machine takes a beating
Try to minimize how much your letting kick out on the sides of your blade. Wasting a lot of time/money having to come back and take another swipe when you could have went a few inches wider and got it the first time.
What do you mean specifically? The blade will trip just fine if you hit a raised walk section. If you have walk that is flat and then a slope off the the side it will handle it just fine, may have to make a couple passes.
Note...to any home owner...keep your dam dogs in the house...they don't need to go potty...they are bat shit crazy because some ones out side doing something.
We went from only 2 stage and powerclears to having a multiforce with the blade. We dont use the multiforce for every snowfall. I was somewhat concerned with pulling our trailer around in the winter. This is our second winter using the multiforce and now I dont worry about pulling the trailer in the winter
@@kenirving5268 I did my last leaf job early December just as the first snow of winter fell, and on the way to dump the trailer the trailer started to kick out the rear of the truck, and the snow wasn't even bad yet 😂 Granted, the bed of my 2500 was unloaded, but still I wouldn't want to try pulling a trailer with anything less than a 1 ton or single axle dump. I still do mostly residential using a two stage and shovels.

Somebody's got $$$$ with a heated garage apron. Nice slab heat !
I'm expecting a snow thrower on these in another year or two. This looks very promising, thanks for the time and effort to share this. Just subbed.
Appreciate the sub. I am also waiting on the blower, excited to see what Toro comes up with.
I got one.
That would be even more awesome with a plow like the Blizzard speed wing. Looks like a great machine for tight driveways.
@6:39 love you too... good video !!

Great vid I watch it like five times I love snow vid...
- looks like it could use some rubber side flares.
- love the zero turn capability. Definitely can't do that with a plow truck.

That’s really cool for tiny areas, but I think a Bobcat with a Boss V Plow would be much more effective for most of what your plowing.

I was wondering how it does on wet slushies now so far I've seen videos with just light fluffy snow
