      @Theodwros Vanezis Majors are not everything in tennis, Murray and Wawrinka are the textbook example of this. Murray has been world's #1, won two olympic gold medals, a Davis Cup, the WTF, a ton of Masters 1000 and has made it into 11 Slam finals. He also has a very good h2h against everyone not called Federer, Nadal or Djokovic. Wawrinka is a great player, but he is nowhere near Murray.

    • @ren2871
      @ren2871 5 лет назад +1

      I am tennis coach. Nick has elite racket head speed and great touch, big serve and moves well for a guy his size. Everything else is a mess. His decision making on the court is bad. You can make a highlight compilation video for any top 50 player on tour. In actual matches, he lacks the discipline to keep making the correct strategic decisions. He'll get impatient and let it rip down the line instead of maintaining the cross court rally. He lacks the patience to play middle to middle and build his points. His backhand is pretty average, his return of serve is nothing special. He's not a player I would want my students to emulate or learn from, except for his racket head speed which is special. He's great for those who aren't really into tennis and might tune in if he's playing. For those who love tennis, they usually get the kick out of watching the strategic chess matches between Rafa, Novak and Federer

      I disagree. There was a huge element of luck in this in that Nadal's reverse backhand smash was weak and poorly directed. If it was Federer instead of Nadal, the smash would have been a winner. There are other points in this video that outshines this point.... eg. the point at 1:49 is pure endurance and skill.

    If he comes trough to very top only future will tell, but he has all the shoots and amazing feel for the ball, he's just the most excitable player on tour to watch. The problem is he thinks he is the best there is and sometimes that's enough for him. He can beat No.1 and then loose to No. 100 the next day...

    • @Gigusx
      @Gigusx 5 лет назад

      Has he actually made any comments that indicate he thinks that way? Kyrgios has always been great in interviews as far as his relations with other players are concerned.
      I get why anybody would be lacking motivation against weaker opponents though, happens in literally every sport. It's not as fun or challenging and I'm fairly certain the players would rather get this over with than stay in the match, sometimes that impatience backfires though.
