It’s sad all of theses artists. There are so many. I grew up with Whitney Houston, Janice Joplin, I have sang cover tunes of Janice Joplin. Really sad about Karen Carpenter. She had the most beautiful voice. Christine Mc Vie. She was a great singer. She was in Fleetwood Mac. May all theses artists rest in peace.
Great List! I understand the video would have been obnoxiously long if every singer on this list was given the video highlight, but of the ones who did not receive one, Karen Carpenter and Laura Branigan are at the top of my list!
Long live blues queens. Billie holiday, big mama Thornton, Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Etta James and all those others I can't name for the sake of length
So sad Karen Carpenter was from my home town of Downey ,ca ,my dad went to school with her they were great people I met her before she died I was 6 years old always remember that as a child they'lived down the street from my grandparents house
I wonder why there has been no movie made about the life of Tammi Terrell , so many great actress could play her, including Taraji P. Henson. We also need a movie about the life of Phyllis Hyman , that’s been a long time coming . Rest in peace to both legendary ladies 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾💐💐🪷🪷🪷

Correction: Patsy Cline died at age 30 in a plane crash 😢
You forgot Natalie Cole, daughter of legendary Nat King Cole, and a beloved prominent singer in her own right.
You right that's what I thought
Aaliyah died from a plane crash too
It broke my heart when Whitney Houston passed away she was so young only 48 she has so much life to live and so much talent
Loved Dusty Springfield.Great voice!
I was devastated by losing Christine Mcvie and Olivia-Newton John since I heard both of their passings on the radio

Thank you for your response. We will definitely feature these artists in a highlight video in the future as well.
Cass Elliot was very talented. Also liked Christine Mc Vie and Laura Brannigan.
You forgot Olivia Newton-John, Melanie Thornton and Marie Fredrickson.
Beautiful girls back then!

Aretha Franklin had cancer.😢😢😢 They said that she was a piece of work
So sad Karen Carpenter was from my home town of Downey ,ca ,my dad went to school with her they were great people I met her before she died I was 6 years old always remember that as a child they'lived down the street from my grandparents house
Very neat. Yes, it is truly a tragedy.
Karen Carpenter was my favourite.
Mine, too.
I never heard of most of these lady singers

RIP, TIMMY TARRELL
So far didn't see Janice Joplin or Lisa lift eye Lopez. R.i. p. TobAll of them but that's what died for brain cancer 24 that's crazy 0
Good list…but I would personally add Angela Bofill to the list….
And Lisa lift eye Lopez seen her to my bad
Nevermind seen Janis my bad
Never cared for her. Too much screaming and screeching.
They said Michael Jackson had melanoma cancer that's skin cancer
OK, I'll be THAT person. I do not get why Janis is so revered. Death helps one's legacy, I suppose.
Me, either.
Here voice was so raw and genuine. Listen to me and Bobbie McGee.
This is very nice but I don't think Ms Houston was still using
. She just tragically passed away . Stop saying it was cocaine overdose
Nicolette Larsen died of a brain aneurysm
Amy not dead ow she quit show business every day plp better too be mm
Sorry, who likes that, okay. But Janis Joplin did't sing, she screamed.
