You were looking at your beer. Ha ha. Alright....spending a little time with Randy and Beau this afternoon. Been enjoying the shows - rewatching them now so I can finally get to commenting. Unbelievable that a guy gets the cold shoulder after a half century. Live as a band...die as a band. LOYALTY! I'm starting to wonder if the RnR HOF is purposefully messing with all of us? They certainly get a lot of debate time on social because of these crazy selections. And will it ever get to a point where the absurdity of it makes them irrelevant? Save your heart.....save your tears. Thumbs up on that one. I want to see the "next level" Alex Lifeson speech. "Maiden and Priest....KAW-MAWNNNN".....good argument there Randy. :) I gotta say...I love it most when the two of you are on opposite sides of a topic. The Tyler doc is a great example. "...embraces the challenges..." Was it really a challenge? Was he really "pushing boundaries"? Having not seen it, I'm curious if it was a true exploration into a new genre or if it was just another way to get his face and name out to an audience? Did it feel authentic? First of all...the Clayton Bellamy conversation was awesome - AWESOME. Really enjoyed the energy and flow around the table. Holy S#!+......what a NAMM story. Trucks, Mule and the Allman Brothers??!!!! Insane. Love the Alice Cooper mention....the "character" he plays on stage. Finding the first suit...great stuff. Songwriting stories are always the best. "...if you're a good human..." - awesome to hear everyone say that. So many fantastic stories and so authentic and genuine. Fantastic. So much fun.
Thanks for sharing! If you have a minute, we recorded an Eddie Van Halen tribute video. As fellow music lovers, we'd love if you'd take a listen. It's on our page. Don't be too tough on us :)
