Nothing like starting off the weekend by watching Scott do his thing. I am sure I can speak for a lot of us and say Thank You for sharing all your wisdom. Have a great weekend everyone.
whew finally getting caught up on your videos.. new grandfather here and its hard to find the time to watch my favorite You Tubers as we have my grandson while his mom is at work.. long story short i just binge watched about 4 hours of your videos to catch up and as usual this IS250 was an awesome build series.. glad to see mr spotty back too as i have been wearing one of his T-shirts in his honor as i thought he had passed away or something ... told my wife i would happily buy one of your rebuilds as YOU DO THEM RIGHT!!! great work as usual
I was in the "Collision Repair" trade for 45 yrs. Recently retired. You give me hope that integrity and pride of our accomplishments will live on. P.S. We were called "Body Men" back in the good old days.🤭
Thanks for starting my weekend off the right way! Great build as always, and a nice looking car. Can see why they sell quick as they look better than they did when they came out of the dealership. Best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧
I get a little ❤️when I reply to Scott but when I mention the mustang nothing so I think I’ve got the message, hi from Ireland, yep Scott is well appreciated here even though we drive on the wrong side of the road
Scott, how do you keep your torque wrench in calibration? I've tried adjusting my click and ugh adug settings, but it's still not accurate. Like others look forward to your videos and the results of experience. Do you have to dispose of the haters' tears in an epa approved way? Great work.
Just saw a 07 IS 250 go through IAA ended less than $500 now it's back up for $600 buy it now. Might be a good parts car for somebody the front is smashed pretty good though.
Great job on the Lexus but that 72 Caprice patrol car really caught my attention…gotta love those with the 454 and the 400 turbo(i think).. is that something we’re gonna be seeing more of??
Question if anyone knows .. if a 2008 IS-F or 2012 front bumper will fit a 2008 Lexus AWD. it's not damaged but needs to be re-worked/ painted. I would prefer to have the round fog lights to place a set of Diode Dynamics fog lights on my car.
All the different installation tools you refer to would easily be replaced with a multi purpose meat mallet. Way cheaper and takes up less space in the tool box. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
Seek Jesus! Repent for the Kingdom is at hand! Jesus is the way! The truth! And the life! He’s the ONLY way! Open the Bible, read and understand that we are in the last days! Put your full trust in him! Believe 1 Corinthians 15 1-4!
7:50 AMEN. I work with electronics repairs and I put every screw and bracket back on. Even foams and tapes. I like to make everything look like it came from the factory. If it came with it from factory for some reason, it’s going back on.
Your sense of humor has improved greatly since last vid, did you win the loto? lol. The reason gm cars break and Lexus does not is east. Every vendor knows gm will not return junk parts. Lexus, on the other hand, will send all parts on shelf if they find a few bad ones. Then they back-charge for the parts the shipping and will send them back all again if the vendor misses one and sends a bad part back to them. GM could have best quality but. they simply do not want it.
RAISED BRAKE - my Neon's were so nice with the raised lamp was located on the back of the decklid - no spoiler issue and it did not look like an add-in like the rear window ones always look to me. My Elantra, the rear window and having to never get that whole bottom glass ever cleaned right around that lamp - endlessly annoys me.
If you needed proof that's a Texas car, it's that the dumb-ass oil filter drain plug actually came out. Every Toyota I've ever worked on that thing is welded in there so tight that trying to remove it will just spin the entire filter canister off.
I used cavity wax and Fluid Film all around my Florida house to retard the salt air from rusting out various bolts and whatnot. Then hurricane Ian put two feet of sea water inside my house. The mostly empty can of cavity wax floated to the other side of the garage along with a zillion other things. When the water drained out it left behind fish in my living room.
Keep a heavy paper clip slid in your wallet flatten the ends with a hammer to mimic a small screwdriver I use it to tighten eyeglass screws and it comes in handy for prying batteries out of small spaces
Oh you don't drink haters tears? I figured they would make you stronger. LOL That was a great build and it was done right. I can't believe you did it though I would have scrapped the car for parts.
A baby Swiss army knife (the smallest one) has a little scissors and - screwdriver on it... perfect for those little packaging crises. Nice job again, thanks for the videos.
40:36 actually, wiping that off (I call it housekeeping at work) makes sure the customer doesn’t come back screaming “ever since you changed my oil, it’s now leaking!” When all it was, was the residual oil from the drain plug or filter.
you work on so many cars. in your opinion between a Lexus es 350. a 2020 chevy impala and or an Avalon, Camery what one has the most leg room and do you think would last? call me crazy but i like the layout of the impala better. but i had an older one and had lots of repairs. ADD OCD sucks lol. i cant decide. and i loved this series. i could never do this. mad props to figure out it all goes back together.
My 37 Chev PU sat outside until the early 70's.Then for the next 15 years it was in a corn crib.until I rescued it and took it to my garage. At 85 years old there were only 2 spots of rust, both where the floor pan meets the back of the cab. Neither were rusted through, but the paint was blistered. I'm boxing the frame so I will cavity wax it, but the climate here is semi arid. I've had portions of the truck in bare metal for over a year with no rust forming.
I use a couple of the 8 and 20 part storage bins from harbor freight, number them as I go along and sometimes write what they are to also jog my memory, then assembly is just counting backwards. big pieces are usually pretty obvious where they go, and if they're not well, maybe I shouldn't be taking cars apart to fix them. :D
I purchased the buffer , not sure what is , glue remover wheel thingy ,😂, from your store today. Thanks for stocking that and making life easier. Cheers🇺🇸🇺🇸

Really enjoy Vehcor Fridays!
brilliant job
Battery is oxygen activated
How much for the vehicle 🚗?
I had assumed the reason you jump around was to keep your back / legs from complaining about one position being held too long....
That car looks great. I’d buy it if I needed a small sedan. Actually, I’d buy any car you rebuilt. 😊
My kind of build, affordable. Great work and I enjoy the content.
Thanks
I was amazed that it was salvageable having seen it's original condition, but someone is getting a nice car there Scott. Excellent rebuild.
I look forward to every Friday. I love your videos!
You’re a good problem solver….great work Scott!
And the Lexus comes back to life as a car again, after showing up as crumpled wreck.
I guess that is better than buying a nice car and it ending up as a crumpled wreck! 😂
Let's be honest.. we all put up with Scott's BS for a chance to see Mr. Spotty.
And there is a fair amount of BS you put up with! 😂
That generation IS still looks great inside and out

They also look better than newer models - the whale face grill keeps getting bigger and uglier!
Ah, Scotty's Lexus. The "relentless pursuit of...someone's been in here before."
That pursuit seems to be the equivalent of shooting fish in a barrel! 😂
Another great series Scott. Thanks
Hope things are going well with the mustang. I sure miss it.
I get a little ❤️when I reply to Scott but when I mention the mustang nothing so I think I’ve got the message, hi from Ireland, yep Scott is well appreciated here even though we drive on the wrong side of the road

Hope the hand modeling went good for you. 😁👍🤣
It’s my main source of income! 😂
AHA, you have cleaned the absorber....some things are changing in this channel....LOL
Another great video!
That particular part of the absorber needed to be cleaned to balance out the clean fog light bezel. 😂
You make it look so easy Scott....
"Jiffy lube specs" that`s a good one. Also the "absorber" for bumper. I`ve also heard it called a floatation device. Lol
Excellent good job 👏 and
I love lexus, great job!
Car looks awesome. Another great rebuild. Great job Scott. Have a great weekend.
I enjoyed this rebuild.., was a little different than the last 30 gm trucks lol.
Just saw a 07 IS 250 go through IAA ended less than $500 now it's back up for $600 buy it now. Might be a good parts car for somebody the front is smashed pretty good though.
Mr. Spotty gets no respect…the one employee who’s been with you since the beginning.
Great job on the Lexus but that 72 Caprice patrol car really caught my attention…gotta love those with the 454 and the 400 turbo(i think).. is that something we’re gonna be seeing more of??
Are Toyota lovers tears saltier than others? Asking for a friend.
Yes, and they are delicious! 😂
Great finish for a nice project.good video, loving the sarcasm as I always do.keep on doing your thing.kudos 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Thanks, will do!
Literally to the 1% who's reading this, God bless you, and may your dreams come true, stay safe and have a wonderful and blessed day.😇

When you pulled the Chevy trim piece out of the console near the end of the video, I just laughed out loud. Thanks.
Thirty bucks is Thirty bucks I'm with you I'm poor myself saving money is always good 👍

Excellent series on repairing that is250. 👏 👍
Omg this came out absolutely gorgeous. You're a miracle worker.
You really should wear a bicycle helmet when installing that muffler system. I wouldn't think less of you.
Pffttt... Who am I kidding. Yes I would.
Beautiful work. Sorry if I previously offended. Awesome!
The dust on them door panels, the clean freaks will be having seizures as we speak 🤣🤣🤣
It’s great, isn’t it! 😂

Thanks for the support!
😄😄Hand modeling..Sure ! Sometimes a guy needs some gloves. Really nice car, great job !

Nice work dude! Question: Were there no spare wheel, onboard tools or rear carpet in the trunk?
If you needed proof that's a Texas car, it's that the dumb-ass oil filter drain plug actually came out. Every Toyota I've ever worked on that thing is welded in there so tight that trying to remove it will just spin the entire filter canister off.
Hello from the Netherlands .
thanks for the video Scott .
Sincerely, Hollandduck
what's the blue and white LEO car in the background in the shop for? around 25:00 time
I used cavity wax and Fluid Film all around my Florida house to retard the salt air from rusting out various bolts and whatnot. Then hurricane Ian put two feet of sea water inside my house. Always love your work and videos Scott!!! Keep 'em comin'!!!
43:37 that should automatically close completely with long press. Something is off.
Is Mr. Spotty sad today? He looked a little blue!
Sorry, I'll show myself out...
Why do we clean parts that don't show that will get dirty again but some of just do... I blame my mother
Keep a heavy paper clip slid in your wallet flatten the ends with a hammer to mimic a small screwdriver I use it to tighten eyeglass screws and it comes in handy for prying batteries out of small spaces
It's good to see all the work that goes into doing things right. So many folks these days just slap on some duct tape and spread on Velveeta.
Sound deadening on the inside of the door panels. It’s the little things that make a difference with a premium brand.
Why you guy removed and replace the oil filter first before remove the oil drain plug?
Why don't you guy clean up the vehicle after the rebuild completed?
Wonderful work as always!
It's call a trunk lid for a car or SUV or truck a deck lid is Deck in your backyard are you painting a deck
Amazingly nice job. How can I get a good car from you? I live in Nigeria
Slap Slap. "That's not going anywhere". I see what you did there. LOL
It works on more than just tie down straps! 😂
When are the bumper and door panel installation tools going to be in your Amazon shop? 😉
It can’t be torqued to MFG specs unless you say click. I don’t make the rules, fella.
Good stuff. Hope you and yours have a good Thanksgiving.
Thanks, have a Happy Thanksgiving as well!
I'm a Toyota fan but loved being picked on .. 🤣
Turned out Great as always Scott. Thanks for sharing.
Another outstanding job Scott now use the time between cars to brush up on your sarcasm. See you on the next one.
Today’s video brought to you by Scott’s assembly tools. 100% guarantee to work, or near that😂.
Oh you don't drink haters tears? I figured they would make you stronger. LOL That was a great build and it was done right. I can't believe you did it though I would have scrapped the car for parts.
The editing cracks me up. How long does it take to put together a video like this?
I was looking forward to the rear glass installation. I learn from even the smallest process you do. I guess I missed it
I thought it was me. He must have used his magic brake job hammer to install it.
A baby Swiss army knife (the smallest one) has a little scissors and - screwdriver on it... perfect for those little packaging crises.
Nice job again, thanks for the videos.
Getting the battery out of the package is always the hardest part.
Hey dude, I love your sarcastic sense of humor it’s awesome, 👍🏻
Very nice work! Turned out great!
Another awesome build. Just wondering, do you charge a premium because the car has been washed with hater's tears?
40:36 actually, wiping that off (I call it housekeeping at work) makes sure the customer doesn’t come back screaming “ever since you changed my oil, it’s now leaking!” When all it was, was the residual oil from the drain plug or filter.
You do good work and I enjoy watching but where oh where is the Mustang build? It's been forever since you've done a video on it!
you work on so many cars. in your opinion between a Lexus es 350. a 2020 chevy impala and or an Avalon, Camery what one has the most leg room and do you think would last? call me crazy but i like the layout of the impala better. but i had an older one and had lots of repairs. I love it haters tears water bottle you need to put that in your merch store if you don't already have it
You always put doors back together because you’re good at putting doors back together!

That's the only 10mm you didn't lose because it's too big to fit in the typical 10mm swallowing holes. I need to find one, lol
Something tells me Scott has a few "magic blue tarps that make things disappear" in his backyard! He always has the parts:)
Good job me.
Please working in camaro
Awesome video Scott. Thanks for sharing.
Hello Scott and thumbs UP!
👋🏻 🥉
It turned out beaufull. I love Lexus's.
Another quality rebuild complete. Love the rust free southern cars. They are worth their weight in gold.
Good job almost 200 thousand subs.yay
I didn't see the rear glass being put in was it not shown?
