- Just one week from the start of the Atlantic Hurricane Season, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) released its 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season Outlook Thursday morning. The season is expected to be 'hyperactive,' with above-average activity in the Atlantic.

Funny how they don't mention Hurricane Michael of 2018 which left major devastation in the panhandle of Florida and the Tri State Area of Florida Georgia and Alabama. This storm rapidly intensified leaving a small window for preparation in these areas. This storm speed up once on land and went inland from gulf coast of Panama City Beach Florida 3hrs in up into Georgia and Alabama making catastrophic damage that still to date the media has fail to cover. People still to date have tarps on the houses in these areas, many had to relocate and never return due to fema not providing help and monies being misused. Please do as much as in your power to prepare now. FEMA will not deliver as their stating and with all the tornadoes that have happened just this year and devastated places FEMA is already helping them so go figure. How much will they have to help you..think about it. PREPARE NOW! They need not play this down, trust me prepare now. They're holding this press conference because they already know whats about to happen. AND IT'S NOT GOOD!!! GET SERIOUS AND PREPARE NOW!

@@user-hz5rk5vy1t May be something to consider based on scientists latest discovery of the ocean water rushing down beneath one the large ice glaciers causing it to melt faster. This will cause sea levels to rise and scientists predict the Florida pensilua will disappear.
I live in Beaumont Texas and I hope and pray we do not get anything in the Gulf this season
