Eh, i like it, i understand both sides. I have knives that i like to keep looking nice and use it for light cutting tasks. Others like my microtech and a few other high end knives I don't mind getting beat up. That being said my microtech has a two tone black and satin blade. Black oxide, DLC, Kershaw/ZT's black stone wash looks so good with useage marks and scars and a handle to match. That's just my opinion. I also am getting to the point in my life where the "destroy it to enjoy it" is making sense.
Do you have to hold it on relied to make it glow in the dark or leave it? I don’t wanna picnic table in the sun to make it glow at night. I’m curious to know this is not a joke question.
Hey so does that give a better texture for gripping? I've put grip tape on mine but it tears up my pockets. It's okay on my gun but that's not being taken out as much and you clear the shirt to draw it.

It's a knife, it's a tool, a tool which I may very well have to use to defend myself, I shouldn't be afraid to get it scratched, nor should a knife cost as much as a new GLOCK before I can completely trust it and it's construction. But I guess I'm supposed to melt and get uncomfortable in my jeans when I see made in America stamped on the thing. It's a knife it's purpose: cut, pierce, repeat. Nowhere in there does it say collateral for a small business loan..Call me frugal , thrifty, or cheap but if my OTF schrade can fulfill the above mentioned purposes and I don't have to take out an insurance policy on it then I'm gonna go with the schrade. Really a knife condom. And some design engineer got paid a lot to come up with a knife condom. Did they think to make it ribbed . YOUR KNIFE SHOULD NEVER BE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN YOUR PISTOL. That's why the knife is in the background of the guns in the gun magazine pictorials it's a support tool not the star of the show. The knife industry needs to rethink what value is. Also why does every major knife company make at least one model with some variation of the Spyderco thumb hole?
