Here is the second part of Veef's video review for the DX Chogokin VF-19 Advance from Macross Frontier! ruclips.net/video/9u0YKB2tbic/видео.html #macross
It's odd. My left booster popped right on, The right booster not even close. Had to break out the hobby knife and do some trimming on the inside of the booster. Fits perfect now.
Oh, my gosh... No. Just no. I love Macross. I love transforming robots. But this is just an awful design. Too many fiddly bits, the transformation mechanisms are so complex that the parts won't line up. Having such large parts attached to tiny hinges make it impossible for anything to hold up. Additional parts that either cannot be stored or must be swapped out is tedious and at risk of getting lost. It's just poorly designed. The engineer looks great but it can't compensate for bad decisions. Sometimes simplicity is best. The Yamato/Arcadia YF-19 (VF-19) toys may not have a waist joint, but their design is solid. The parts fit as they should and their toys can take a beating because they were designed with small, light weight parts connecting to a large, strong base; solid foundation. I thought I missed out when I didn't pre-order this toy, but it looks like I dodged a bullet. BTW, CollectionDX great review. I always refer to your videos before a purchase. Thanks, man! :-)

You will make the comparison between the VF and Arcadia.

This is really cool. Dude, where do you get this stuff? I want to get the vf-2ss, but I don't know where to go to find one. How much do they go for?
