Tsr performance offers intermediate shaft kit to run equal length driveshafts to reduce torque steer. It's for 02M but it could be machined to fit DSG.

Let me know when you get tired of that asbestos roof leaking on your freshly machined parts. We could do a lovely over-clad, fully insulated with new roof lights and no interruption’s to the lads internally. 👍

    Nice work!
Between quaife and wavetrac, what diff do you recommend for dsg?

They won't provide one for back to back test. For a track only car pick a Plated differential. For a road car Quaife is fine.

Reyt then, why did u install dsg gearbox? Is it faster than 02M 6mt? Seconds, tenth on lap? Maybe you found out winning electronic prep cause dsg is slow specially with gear down. No one can beat old best manual stick. More audi/vw make good ones. And you know there's a lot of stuff to strengthen and go quicker. Or dsg is beefier and there's no 4th gear shredding?

The DSG in the TTs is very well controlled so better to keep it. The oil cooling is much better with DSG so unlikely we will have gear issues. Is it quicker? Can't say for sure

Did the TT originally have the VAQ E diff? Thats something I'd like to do myself on my Mk3 Cupra put a plated diff inside the box and get rid of the E diff for weight saving and Drivability I just couldn't work out how I'd make it work.

No these didn't have it. I would leave the E-Diff, I've tested back to back and it works better than any plated or helical differential. They don't weigh a lot.

@@DarksideDevelopments that's nice to know the problem im having with it on track is on entry to a corner until the ECU sees throttle input it doesn't seem to lock the E dif so the car pushes wide utill I push the throttle and then the front end pulls in I've changed the setting in vagcom for increased traction that helped but only when the diff is engaged I've had to change my driving style to scub off more speed so I can get on the throttle at corner entry so the diff works that's why I wanted a plated diff inside the box
