Bro wtf are y'all hating on? I have never heard of this man in my life, but he managed to: 1. Use multiple samples in more than one beat 2. Play an actual instrument and implement it into a beat 3. Seem genuine and humble, and not act like an arrogant ass. That's a lot more than I could ask for as far as some of these episodes go.
Lil Yo Nah playa, that would actually be a breath of fresh air,lol....However, it does seem like 90% of the participants of this show use the EXACT same approach to cookin up a track which of course ends up giving the EXACT same results to varying degrees....Im not stuck in the past but to clarify my point I do have to mention that If Slick Rick tried to sound like Public Enemy back in the day he would have been finished, diversity was respected, nowadays? not so much...
I like the first beat. You don’t have to overproduce to sample. If we didn’t know the sample or the process behind it and heard it on the radio people would go crazy like usual.
Slenderbot wow so he's talented cuz he produced for peep? nigga garbage can't even tune an 808 wit the melody lmao if you can't do that simple shit u garbage bro
Somethin' different, not necessarily feelin' it, but the meldin' of genres I can get down with so long as it's produced to make sense. I see a lot of potential here though
Love how everyone has tried to turn "old head" into some sort of disrespectful term. No one is confused. I'm in the process of learning to produce and making a beat strictly from samples without relying on 808s (his 808 ins't even properly tuned) and typical trap drum patterns is extremely hard and and an art of its own. That being said this series is suppose to be geared towards that. People wanna watch skilled producers craft and program samples on a mpc not find a 4 bar loop and program drum patterns everyone can to the genius channel for that.
COSMIC666 you gonna get old too and some young kids are gonna call your taste in music shit when they have a shittier taste in music than you do and you gonna remember me
Minnie Riperton one of those people were everything is sample worthy, don't think I've ever come across a song of hers where there isn't a section that can be sampled
I know these past few episodes have been a bit disappointing but can everyone quit saying that they should discontinue rhythm roulette....That'd be a whole hell of a lot more disappointing if you ask me
true, but i hadn't mixed them in the cut they used in the video. i like the style of a little bit out of tune a little too loud 808 ... it feels punk. i respect your opinion though.
Y’all don’t gotta bash him just bc you ain’t like this . Just dislike or go to the next video. There’s enough bs producers have to deal with like how about y’all help each other get paid.
@@kaydimes9368 There's a very long list. A couple more of my favourites off the top of my head are Nedarb Nagrom and Charlie Shuffler. Nedarb in particular produced a lot of the most iconic Peep tracks, including all of the California Girls EP and Castles 1.
Jesus Christ!!! Yo Mass Appeal, I get it that you're trying to have a wide variety of beat makers/producers on these Rhythm Roulette episodes, but this is like the 100th episode in a row where you bring on a trap producer that spends the 1st half of the episode skimming for 2-4 bar loop, they sample the loop into their DAW, program some trap drums with an 808 and hi hat rolls, then call it a beat. Y'all seriously need to realize that the majority of people who look forward to this show are boom bap heads! There's nothing wrong with trap, but what they do is a completely different skill set from diggin' in crates and choppin' up records. Y'all should really think about coming up with a format that could become a whole other show, where these trap producers can show off their skills.
Bruh I’m 21 and I produce as well. This was BIG TRASH for the most part. The live guitar was poppin though I will admit. But come on the drums were so out of key 😭
when y'all gonna get ALC. we need some real producers on here. not some lawn sprinkler hi hat bullshit. maybe preemo? pete rock? samiyam? knxwledge? heat it up boys
This one had potential but went downhill so fast. Mass Appeal please get a producer on here that actually knows how to sample records. Enough with these bullshit producers already.
Sad time in hip hop when 90% of "producers" or "programmers" think every sample has to be manifested into some sort of trap beat! Boy is miss the boom pap era

no, we just want them to get on here and not be fucking garbage.

I don't know if that beat would be making me go crazy any day of the week. It was a boring ass loop he did nothing with to make it interesting
this was good
second beat was fye

@@fastkash2x131 lmao and who are you? Your beats are hella basic and unoriginal.
Damn they make the producer pay for the records? Mass Appeal y’all cheap 😂
If they make a hot beat and sell it for a few stacks then what does it matter?
A true punk star
lol
Lmao
When will you release a compilation of all these session made songs my dudes ? .......please upvote if you support this.
1:40 when you just went soul section digging
A lot of y’all hating but probably can’t shred a guitar like him.

The guitar sounded nice i thought!
Edge of a dream- Minnie Riperton.
Anyone know where I can get that 'S' pendant he's wearing?!
oh well its time to go and watch Large Professor video again
Rip rhythm roulette
Edge of a Dream by Minnie Riperton is one of my favorite tracks of all time. Miss her 🙏🏽🙏🏽
too many old heads in these comments hah
old head or not still trash bro, it's all off key and a basic trap beat
Be blessed enough in your life to become an old head.
nothing wrong with being an old head, that comment was just a observation. The youth fucking with this so its easy to spot confused old heads hah

Fish Narc is a genius
I just wanted to say me and fishnarc share the same birthday and he just answered with "that’s crazy”
Minnie Riperton one of those people were everything is sample worthy, don't think I've ever come across a song of hers where there isn't a section that can be sampled
Damn Napoleon Dynamite got some heat! 😂
Tune your 808s people...
okay guru tell us what key this is in and what it's "supposed" to be in
don't tell fishnarc how to do what he does best, you're a fucking nobody
I know these past few episodes have been a bit disappointing but can everyone quit saying that they should discontinue rhythm roulette....That'd be a whole hell of a lot more disappointing if you ask me
This was cool! We need smokeasac on here!!!
fax
Love these!!
808's are so badly out of key
So is the bass. It's killing me, honestly.
Mr. Ultrafino 808s are the bass bro
Right. I thought Joey was talking about the kick drum. Anyways, it is horrendously out of tune.
Check out my beats
true, but i hadn't mixed them in the cut they used in the video. i like the style of a little bit out of tune a little too loud 808 ... it feels punk. i respect your opinion though.
GENIUS PEEP WOULD BE PROUD
Minnie Ripperton was an awesome artist, not only to sample from but to vibe to as well. She's also SNL's Maya Rudolph's mom....
10/10 sample... 4/10 production
JL Red naw that guitar back track how many can do that
North Rd you serious 😂

Love ya Fish Narc
whats the name of the first album he sampled
Y’all don’t gotta bash him just bc you ain’t like this . Just dislike or go to the next video. There’s enough bs producers have to deal with like how about y’all help each other get paid.
This comment section is the worst. Beat is dope.
It is a cool beat. But this kid literally didn't take note of his out of tune 808 and it ruins it.

Hold up, description says he's "official" , twitter had convinced me it was wolfdrawn. I'm confused
That Minnie Ripperton piano sample sounds like some nujabes stuff ^^
Why the hate? Most producers can’t play guitar. You guys are hating because he doing things simple yall expect him to be on some J Dilla shit smh
Which brings us to our next lesson kids.......dont do drugs.
Goddamn it, 808 kicks dont go on everything. Horrible.

I always wondered who was behind Peeps beats
There’s a few more I don’t think fish narc made that many beats for beat , mainly smokeasac also bigheadonthebeat

There were gems in the small amount of time that he played the disco record. You should be able to sample ANYthing and make it bang.
