So I have the spec d's for my 2008 WRX, replacing the stock halogen projector is an option? I'd like to somehow put LEDs in those is that possible
This is awesome! I was looking for a DRL LED strip headlights for my 2014 STI with OEM HIDS equipped, but sadly Spec D only makes them for the WRX halogens. You guys now allow me the option of retrofitting them with morimoto projectors!
Question: compared to the OEM Subaru WRX/STI headlight housing assembly, either OEM halogen or HID, how does the quality of parts feel on the Spec D? Im looking OEM quality with the LED strip. Thanks!
The headlight is much lesser quality than original. I would recommend retrofitting your original with the Retro Quick kit using the TL-R projector unless you MUST have the LED strip. otherwise halos look great on the OEM lights. They look amazing. How do i get these on my STi hatch?
We don't recommend these aftermarket headlights but there are others that can make a better base for the conversion if you need that C-light look. Email us for more info, we can build you a set!
Where can I find a hid headlight projector assembly with ballast and lights? For 1998 Impreza 2.5 rs
Lightwerkz can you (modify) do this DRL LED strip to my 08 Infiniti M35? I want this exact look for mine but i didn't just wanna put some LED tube strip on the inside.
Did you guys do anything to the LED strip? Looks way brighter then normal if so I need this done to mine!

Lightwerkz I just purchased the projector retro fit kit plus the Hid conversion package for my Spec D headlights. The halogen bulbs are not anywhere near the brightness I need. I have the exact same lights shown in the video. How difficult are they to install and do you recommend a particular shop to install them in Northern Virginia? Any other info you may have is greatly appreciated. Thank you
Which retrofit kit did you purchase? This was the TL-R projectors. Installation is a little advanced. I would recommend sending up the lights and parts to us if possible. Please email with any questions - info@lightwerkz.net

I assume you guys had to modify the bracket?
Yes we modified the bracket o fit the new projector. Check out instagram page for some photos of the process.
Can you install these headlights out of the box or do you need to mess with wiring
You could - but these have been retrofitted. The projectors these lights use are very low quality so you would give up alot of performance if you switched to these lights and left them original. They need to be retrofitted so you can have an upgrade in performance. Once we convert them then its all plug and play once you get them back from us. Hope this helps. Thanks!
Does anyone know if you can customize the spec d headlights like baking them in the oven and taking it apart to paint the day time lights yellow??
Of course. You can bake these lights open and perform any modifications you want.
