@@Hades-it3gf Its not fair for you to discredit him like that this early on. This is MMA, anything can happen. If someone like Usman can wrestle their way up to the championship, then so can Belal. Well, we will see this Saturday when he fights Luque. It seems like so many people are sleeping on him just on the basis of him being too boring and wrestle-heavy.
Belal is on the same trajectory as both Khabib and Usman. All of them had “boring” fights, but that didn’t matter to them, because its all about winning.
@@muhammadzariff7075 Belal is a tough, scrappy, skilled guy. Unfortunately, with the likes of Usman Colby, Leon, Luque, Burns, Khamzat, Shavkat next to each other like that... there really is no way for Belal to go past any two of those guys one after another. We need to be fair to all athletes in sports that we watch. If you watch carefully the Leon-Belal fight and you came away with the belief that if Leon hadn't accidentally poked Belal's eye, that Belal would have gone on to win, you don't understand and don't appreciate MMA. Leon clearly out-classed Belal in the 6-7 minutes they maneuvered around each other, testing each other's skills and agility. And Leon is the opposite of Luque in terms of mentality: Luque go for broke; he has the chin and skills to do it, too. We will retrace out steps and return to this debate, should Belal out maneuver Luque. Otherwise, everything I said here still stick with Belal until he retires.... Again, Belal is a very respected, scrappy, tough, and skilled fighter; he just doesn't have the height, size, power, speed, and agility --- or at the very least one extremely deep specialty (like Colby's D1 wrestling or Leon's pure technical striking or Luque's chin-one-punch-KO ability, etc) --- required at 170 to muster his way past ANY of the 4-5 guys ahead of him right now. When you had others like Sean Brady, Shavkat et al to the mix, too, it's virtually next to impossible for Belal to move any higher in the ranking... He's good enough to settle between #5 and #10; he won't go up any further, at 170.
Well he beat Wonderboy (who's a great striker & beat Luque in a fight that was 99% striking).. But I think Luque can win b/c he has a ground game. I don't think he'll be as easy to get/keep down as Wonderboy was. The smaller octagon makes it interesting though.. It could be a tricky fight
Winning the fight? It was only the second round, you twit. Imagine, if somehow the Chandler vs Oliveira was cut short. You would probably hold the notion that Chandler will dominate Oliveira due to what happened in the first round. Remember, this is MMA, every second could be vastly different from the one preceding it.

I respect Belal he’s done great things and probably had a great life doing what he loves, but he ain’t UFC champ level
How is he not? He’s basically like Usman before Usman won the championship.
@@muhammadzariff7075 He doesn’t have nearly the power or striking game of anyone ranked ahead of him. His wrestling is good but it’s nowhere near good enough to out wrestling usman or Colby. And he hasn’t shown the durability to walk off shots from Usman, Burns luque, or khamzat.
He's good enough to settle between #5 and #10; he won't go up any further, at 170.
stay w this type of content
I like both of them 💚💚
I see this one going like Luques last fight, Belal will shoot and try and chase the RNC, and Luque will flip him out and get him with the D'arce.
I got luque, I don't see belal beating a legit striker. Leon was winning handily in their fight.
@@nutmegriot209 wonderboy like 40 🤣🤣🤣 that's like bragging about beating Ferguson. Luque put him the shadow realm, Leon was about to.. he's beaten wrestlers and past prime guys 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
@@annunaki7753 thas true but i like how Belal used the small octogan. I think i'm still leaning Luque though
@@nutmegriot209 if belal makes it ugly then he gotta good chance. Also if it goes to rds 4-5 belal has better chance
Props to Mama Luque
Love these fighters.
Anyone in 2022 still wasting their money on expensive jewellery I can't get behind.
Excited for this 1
I love Luque haha
Wonderboy is on his way out and Maia is indeed super old.
i love this videos
Luque left Hooft? When did that happen. That means he fights Burns now.
Comments shows how belal lives rent free in these haters head. Congratulations 👏
Belal went from the most bling to the least shiny rolley lol
Luque by tko/submission
Leon edwards ruined this man’s eye lol
Let's not pretend Edwards wasn't on his way to one of the easiest wins of his career against Belal. That eye poke was a blessing from the gods for Belal because he wasn't gonna win that fight in a million attempts.
you never know you just need 1 punch.
Bet the house on Luque?
Nah is not a good idea
These 2 guys deserve a title shot more then Leon Edwards Who barley fights and hasn’t fought any top 5 opponents opponents when they were ranked except RDA 3 years ago and beats unranked Nate Diaz and expects a title shot? Conor McGregor has had the same amount of wins at 170 over the last 2 years as Leon Edwards I’m not even joking💀 and Leon has fought cowboy in his career in 2018 and Couldn’t finish him in 5 rounds when Conor knocked him out in 40 seconds but I’m not saying Conor deserves at title shot and yes I know Edwards has Beaten luque but that was when they were unranked 5 years ago and I think luque is a better fighter then Leon now in my opinion and more deserving as well as belal who Leon poked in the eye so no one won that fight
you are forgetting that edwards has beaten luque in his unbeaten streak
@@MuhGlassRibs yeah I say did Edwards has beaten Luque reread my comment
@@crashingbailey8617 And he was beating belal convisingly.
Who’s that Indian guy what’s his name?
Keep it up 100%
I like Belal, but he cant finish people, Luque can. May the better fighter win.
Leon was ducking him up
He ducked them both up
Antipathy till now for Belal
Vicente his already a star :D
