  • In this episode we finally get around to tackling the pesky rear spark plugs on this 2006 Hyundai Tucson with he 2.7L v6.
I tried to find a solid video showing the rear bolts and could find any, so I decided to take matters into my owns hands and show the locations of them for everyone else searching for the same information.

I had the same work done on my tucson v6 by a very experienced mechanic and it took him three hours. I wasn't game to tackle such a headache. Worth the 300dollars he charged me which included a full diagnostic scan .

@30:38, You actually don't have to remove the section where the throttle body is connect to.

Not worth it the plugs would go at least 200000 plus waste of time unless the cowl can come off in Lexus v6 they would replace only three plugs at the dealer

I disagree, it was totally worth it. The rig pepped right up, more power, gets way better gas mileage and burns cleaner.

How much time did it take to get the job done?

All in it took me about 3 hours. That’s including all the fumbling around that I did finding my way through.
